Performance is great, better then pes 09 + better graphics.
Gameplay is great too, im a keyboard player.
But i noticed u should play this with an analog controller (xbox)
U can move in any angle u want, 360 isch, very great.

I had stutter&tearing too, i fixed this by using the vsync option in settings.
@ pes 09 i had to force Vsync, now app controlled + settings vsync.

you mean not only on the xy axis and diagonals, so more than 8 different directions?
I remember it happened some times on pes09 to move on an angle which is somewhere in between the diagonal ad the xy axis but that happened randomly. you mean here you can control it?

Yes, its more then 8 directions. and u got full control of it.
I was playing with keyboard against a mate, something what i alway do/did in previous pro's.
But u gain a big advantage when using the analog stick.

This game is so damn easy. I'm playing on "Advanced" since years but this year it's ways too easy for me.
And what to hell is happend to the penalty kicks? Side view? Oh my god, this is awful, hope they change it in the final. I failed my first penalty.
Yes, the new penalty kicks view is horrible. I don't know if they'll put it into the retail version, since hundreds of fans are complaining in the official boards.
And one other thing: PES2010 doesn't have full 360 atm. It's surely a great step forward over the 8-directions PES2009 movement, but it still remains "limited" to 16-32 directions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it's bad, but if you want a real 360 movement you'll have to stick with FIFA10 (console).
the penalty view chosen is weird indeed. even if u enable penalty kicks with the expander the view is the usual one from the back, so u can enjoy the new way of shooting (harder, but better from a certain pov).
its not the penalty kick that bothers me, but something else. some other choices made by konami.

fulltime fullfield pressing.
ive never seen in my life a team press like that.
if u play adv or prof difficulty u have atleast one man stuck on you, with tops of 3. for ALL the match.
not even certain italian teams do or can do that. not all the match.
u want to implement such feature? ok, but not for all teams (barcelona never plays that way, for the records... they can press for 20-30 mins and thats it).
2nd.
im trying not to whine but... would be possible to win at least 20% of ball contrasts?
i mean, if u do a little error (lose ball control for a 1/10 sec etc), the ball is AUTOMATICALLY lost (see above reason for comparing).
just to avoid frustration: something like "ok, ive done a little error but i can retry and retake the ball immediately". that is simply not possible.

pes2009 had the problem of fouls and booking. if u tackled ball AND foot it was most of the time foul and book (y or r, depending). which is wrong.
now it seems to me we are on the far opposite.
in the 20+ matches ive played on the demo, cpu never received bookings (nor simple fouls) for tackling me AND THEN the ball.
cant we get a simple middle way between 2009 and 2010, pls?
ok, maybe this is all useless coz the referee chosen for the demo is the most permissive, i dont know. what i know is that there are only 1-2 average fouls in a 10 minute match.
i really liked one of the past pes where play was interrupted so easily (dont remember what pes). it was buggy and some sort of stupid, but at least a bit more realistic.
now instead fouls only for booking...

theyre enabled by default.
if the match ends in a tie, penalties will be there;)
edit : ive seen theres a new version of the expander.
in 0.1 penalties are enabled by default.
now on 0.2 u can decide if u want them or not.
I noticed that this games seems to have problems with Refreshrates other than 60Hz.
Game ran horrible on my 72Hz monitor. With extreme stuttering. But it ran perfectly fluid on my 60Hz device. VSync is also only available at 60Hz!

i dont think its "usual". first time i experienced something like this.
might be usual for console games to be made to be played @ 60Hz but this games seems to be down-right broken with everything else.
