Some quite expensive equipment in it, but it's not a movie room - it's a GARAGE CLUTTERED WITH STUFF. Too spatial and looks like someone has thrown in as much as they can in the same room. Those three windows behind the screen are killing me. Not sexy and not good design, especially concerning the cash-value on the equipment in there. The dude needs to rent a designer. My two cents.

I wonder if they calculated the possibillity of interference in that thing...

takes me back to my younger days and MY first entertainment room setup... i had a bed and a 12" black and white tv, and a tennis ball next to my bed because every 20 minutes the picture would get all screwy and the tv needed a good whack to fix it again... ahh the memories...

i really do not understand why people spend that much money on it.

I used to game a lot when i was younger, but now @ 24 i am bored when gaming after like 10 mins. I'd rather spend my money on a car or a house or just travel 24/7 instead of a 'gaming room' where i would never come.

...meanwhilie the guy with the badass gaming/movie room wonders why someone would spend so much money on a car...

besides, the guy who owns the room probably HAS several badass rides, and probably does travel all over the world... i know if i had the cash id build myself a badass entertainment room, too. its all down to what you enjoy, and just because you dont enjoy the same shit as him doesnt really mean much.

Yeah the guy who owns it could have a net worth in the hundreds of millions and something like that would be just a minor indulgement. Still, I don't like the setup all that much - with 1/10th of the cost you could build a better room for gaming & movies.

True that, but still that room seems a bit overkill imo... You can have pretty awesome game room for a lot less money, this seems like: hey I have bunch of money and I'm gonna build sth that will be posted on the net and all the nerds around the world will say: droool Rolling Eyes

It' seems as guy just wanted some ego boost...

Or.. maybe he plans to make money from it..

lol the room is very real, but doesn't belong to that guy posting it is.

Belongs to some older guy who loves sound and wanted to build the perfect audio room, theres an article/interview with the owner of it. Can't seem to find it though

lulz, i love how they call it "ultimate ps3 setup", yet on that huge screen, the ps3's puny 720p resolution would make it godawful Cool Face

it's probably the 100hz thing - you either love or hate it. some compliment the smoothness, others get weirded out by it.

The couch doesn't look THAT comfortable. If I were to sit there, I would want to put my legs up. I'd prefer a nice comfy armchair, maybe with vibration Cool Face
