QFT. It's a prime example of what happens when a brilliant PC modding team (they were the guys behind the Desert Combat mod on 1942) goes commercial and tosses their ideas onto a console. They cater, and cut, and "tweak" until you're left with...well....that.
Had such high hopes for the game too - was crushingly disappointed when I finally played it.

Got a registration key and an activation code.
It doesn't use GFW.

It's a Games For Windows game, but not a Games For Windows LIVE. A lot of people often get that mixed up.

Does "Saints Row 2 UK" means that I only can buy it if I'm from England? £5.00 is a very nice price for a good game.

Sadly yes. I was IP restricted from buying it, so I just got a close friend to login with my account and buy it for me.

SR2 is actually a great game, GTAIV on a lower budget and not taking itself seriously.
Just fashionable to slate it due to the low budget gfx, you know what the gfx fags are like.
But the gameplay is a lotta fun.

I think the agme is good... it just isn't good on the PC from what I am understanding. i have it on the Xbox 360 and thought it was good from what little I played of it. i can't play it much because of the kids... that's why I was looking hard at buying it for 5 bucks on the PC. . . but Sabin scared me away.

PC version of SR2 is simply horrible, 360 version all the way.

That make sense...
Since it was an online game I thought it'd have been using a Live key
...so,any other cheap way to get a key?And I mean REALLY cheap,so that it'd be worth tying to the RF:guerrilla game even though I don't game online a lot

I wonder why the UK one says 'EA games' and the US one says 'war games'.
And USA has Chronicles of Riddick 2

So is FFoW really not worth $5?
I really love FPS's that are similar to BF2/2142, Section 8, ETQW, etc. so I was assuming this would be fun for me.
Is the lag and bugs still prevalent after all those patches?
More importantly, can someone who has the game installed confirm that there really is only 1 server with more than 30 players at any given time?

It's not worth it because support has ended and gamers have moved on. It's sad really, FFoW was really promising.

I had the game installed until 2-3 months ago, and there were only 2 active servers with more than 30 players. But as I said before, these servers were always running the same map over and over (the Solar Basis map). I don't know how is the situation atm, but I guess it will be even worse, considering that the huge patches didn't fixed all the game issues and flaws.

I played some of the frontlines demo and didnt think it was too bad tbh, I guess the full game was a real turd huh?

Exactly.
I thought the game was brilliant, but people are whining about it and comparing it to REAL turds like Daikatana.
