Anyhow on the patch, nice improvement for me, not sure what else they done to it, but seems the texture loading/pre cache etc has been a bit more optimized.. they put a smoothing slider for the mouse now in controls part but doesnt seem to have label on it lol.. (its the one at the bottom)

still these updates are good, can see it slowly getting there now..

Oh i see, I got no idea matey, im using a legit install at this time so not bothered messing about with "cracks"

Im not sure but the beta files and the exe for it in the beta folder may not be protected.. but you will probably have to have serial for legit online play.. Try it, the beta does not overwrite any of ur files it puts it in a sep beta folder...

just run the beta from the shortcut it provides in the arma main directory..

There is crack for 1.03. Works with the small campaing Prizrak hotfix too.
Haven't tried beta yet.

I'm force to play with crack since my DVD drive broke down and haven't bought the new one yet Razz

I saw a nice physics glitch today. Some default tank single mission. 2 AI tanks were trying to pass a road just next to a house. They grinded together for some time and then suddenly the tank between house and the other tank flipped into the fucking SKY! Landed on the err.. turret and crew evacuated Razz

lol...that stupid physics glitch reminded me when I was playing ArmA 1. I was driving a tank and accidently bumped into a friendly tank. My tank jumped and landed in some garden surrounded with walls. Of course, I couldn't get out of there! Very Happy

how many missions are int the compaign?? i ask because the game is very buggy and hard to play because of it...im now in harvest red comaign, mission badlands, and the f****g enemies exactly know where i em, they see through everything, now some reload bug appears, i cant reload the weapons etc

Which update are you using? beta patches for example are unprotected in terms of disc check protection but still use serial checks with FADE triggers.
(Unsure if the available cracks fixes all of them for the previous update.)

A friend of mine is running ARMA2 at 1920x1080 on a GTX-260 c216 and an E7300 at stock. He didn't have FRAPS running, so I couldn't see the framerate, but it looked pretty smooth.

bugs dont really bug me in this game

but they have to fix the netcode and server stability, i dont get how a OCed core i7 server can get choked up for litteraly minutes before catching up again

is anyone able to connect to a multiplayer server of 1.04?

I cannnot because the 1.04 exe from the patch gives me a SecuRom error.

So i have to use 1.3 exe crack, game launches but cannot join multiplayer because of the version difference in exe.

PS: I have legit key

I just installed the official 1.04 patch and now the game gives me an emulation software error when I try to start it. What crack do I need to use?

EDIT: Never mind, applied the 1.03 crack over the new exe and it works.

is that so?

using a fucking 1.03 file for a 1.04 build may get the game to run but im counting on that you will end up not having a full set of changes at all if your not using the correct exe.

anyone who's been doing this piracy lark for a while should have the brain to realise this is 90% the case..

if youve not been doing it long, then dont make fucking assumptions Very Happy

Yup thats so,

I never said it worked online and moosenoodles mine reads the same as yours.All I know is I had 1.03 nocd and after updating to 1.04 its not asking for a CD and fade isn't kicking in so that's the facts.
