Cheathappens are kinda (very) shitty when it comes to public releases. Only about 10% of their trainers are publicly released, and then it's only for old version of the game, and you always have to wait atleast 3-4 months.

I dont see how can be so funny to play with trainer or something like him... where is the fun if no one can kill u, u have unlimited ammo etc...i want challenge in games, and to play it myself, not with trainer, then he does everything for u, u just run and shoot -.-

Yeah GCW are normally good for that stuff, so does the public version on Cheat Happens only unlock certain things? All I wanted to do was browse the figurines so if it does that without me having to spend points on them it's cool. The rest of the stuff I will play through and collect the emblems for and the play Mercs mode etc.

hm... didn't think it was possible but i fixed the whole monitor switching issue.
the problem was monitor drivers(w t f?). apparently with some standard monitors XP just installs the default drivers(plug and play) and those made the game crash on startup.
anyways i couldn't find the exact drivers for my old'ish monitor so i installed a random set that didn't match my make and model which apparently also came with XP... much to my surprise it actually worked and the game boots up.
most screwed up game fix i've ever come across fo sho.. and i would let myself finish but CAPCOM HAS ONE OF THE BEST PC/CONSOLE PORTS OF ALL TIME!

Finished he game....
one of the best RE games ever released!!!
10/10
the sound,the cutscenes,the graphics,the action...is beyond awesome!
btw i finished the game using 360 pad....mouse support and feel is total crap.

well, as many here i am an oldschool RE player, and although RE4 was a departure from the "same old" RE formula it was truly a winner, so i d/led RE5 with not so great hopes (alot of my friends have played it on x360 and reviewed it as "meh") so i fires up the game (and use the GFWL key from my legit copy of fallout3....which ill be using for arkham too, if someone can confirm a fallout 3 key will work for it) i started to play it DX10 and at first i found the visuals a bit hard on the eye, although very good looking, the game itself i found to be an absolute corker, i am playing using keyboard and mouse and i am having a blast-not really noticing anything to niggle about, i have gotten to past the first "boss" type thing and i think ill be flogging this game to death, same way i did with RE4 on GC,Wii and even on PC.... RE5 will be bought on release day here in the UK, i have the rest of the RE series and all teh silent hill games and im glad on pc i got to "demo" RE5

To kill him the second time you just have to run up the stairs. Nothing more. The first time you just gotta keep shooting until he dies.

I honestly dont know what you mean. I'm thinking I might have triggered a copy protection of some sort. I've used every mine in the arena. Took him down and shot him multiple times in the pink underbelly each time. He has'nt "died" at all yet.
