Does anyone really enjoy drift events in racing games?I don't understand why drift is so popular.Also all the reviews of Shift criticise the drift events in this game. Q6600 OC 3.0ghz, MSI R9 280x Gaming Edition, 7gb ram, Asus P5KC

They criticize the drift events in the game because they were forced to use a different physics/tire model compared to the normal racing events. This is mainly because it would have been way too difficult for the average noob to hold a drift so they had to over exaggerate oversteer/wheel spin in the drift events to make it more approachable and easy.

You buy a PC, and some FPS'es, and you insist on using a gamepad with them? What kind of fucked up logic is that? NFS:Shift is a racing game, it has supported gamepads for many many years now, and this year will be no difference. Sorry, but it was too obvious, at least imo. Unless you've got a pressure sensitive keyboard then racing games are way past you. Long gone are the times where switching from full throttle to full braking got you far.
