Don't get your hopes up for Walmart. They check the release dates in their systems. A friend actually tried to buy it and they wouldn't sell it to him...

I think people should pirate this just because of the long delay Capcom gave PC users.

Capcom didn't port Resi 4, mate, it was outsourced to a company called SourceNext. They're the ones that, originally, fucked up the PC version. Fixable with a patch and a shitload of mods, though.

@sabin1981: Yeah but they knew that they were outsourcing the game to a shitty company, so it's partly their fault too for being such cheap bastards! Razz

It's interesting to note that the patch that fixed the lighting was developed by Capcom, not Sourcenext. From that day and on, they have been treating PC gamers with respect.

Capcom wont stop making games for PC "soon", they have two "PC based" ( I think that's what they said) games in the works.

I certainly wouldn't buy this on PC, already completed it once on PS3 and pretty much played through it again a second time. Smile

This. Two words why: Online Coop. But you can probably use the key on both so what's the problem?

They made a press release or something like that that stated that from the new year all of their major games are going to be multiplatform (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) and recently they said that since they are part of the"PC Gaming Alliance" they are not going to stop releasing games for the PC any time soon.

I don't think they "knew" SourceNext were going to do such a piss-poor job on it, but at least they cared about their fans enough to release the first patch that added/fixed the dynamic shadows and lighting.

All their games since have been great, and hell; their games BEFORE Resi4 were great too. I think Resi4 was just a really bad call.
