A: This version of Dolphin uses the work in progress JIT-IL Core. JITIL should be faster recompiler than the current JIT (ector JIT). Note that the core is still being worked on and there are still kinks in it that needs to be fixed. |
I'm not having any success with it, better stick with the normal one.

Heh ! Finally there is a sega genesis/megadrive/32x emulator that's better than poor old Gens (gens's development is going from bad to worse since the original developer abandoned it to some weirdo)
And it's called Kega Fusion !
I'm having fun with Blackthorne, an old Blizzard game !
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blackthorne
Here's me blasting away some innocent fool, the game is pretty bloody :

They update the ROMs as well, 2 GB is nothing if you take laser disc and other CHD files, 75 GB and up plus 20 GB or so for the laser disc images for both CHD's and then 15 GB for the Rom's (CHD's being hard disk images for certian more graphic titles.)
EDIT: Oh yeah, I use a certain torrent network for mame updating so when that starts it's 100+ GB up and down, my ISP certainly feels that one, hehe.

Quick question about dolphin. Is there a way to use logitech rumblepad 2. The only option in the pad config menu I see is xbox 360, and it doesnt recognize my rumblepad when I press buttons.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Use the nJoy 0.3/0.4 plugin. That works fine with my Logitech P3200 Rumble -- but, sadly, that's only for Gamecube. Nothing I've tried will let me map any buttons in the Wii config, so I'm stuck using the keyboard and mouse.

Oh i misunderstood what you said. Thought you said that njoy only works with gamecube (emulator).
Cool will try it. Thanks.
Edit: Works perfectly, and wow, it runs surprisingly well. 8x CSAA, 1680x1050 resolution, 16x anisotropic filtering, no stuttering and a bit of screen tearing.

The emulator has its own forum with info and "getting started" FAQ. I hope you have a pretty good CPU for it.

Sabin i found the mapping with the njoy thing there in emulator was a bit non functional at times. was some issues with the c-stick, just wouldnt map right with axis nor the other one really..
I found the easiest solution was xpadder 5.4,, that thing just pisses over any config plugins ive see, just set keyboard keys and emulate with the xpadder save your profiles for your games in it and your good to go.. plus all the deadband and diagonal sensitivity sizes etc for movement can be set in xpadder..

Moose, XPadded is great - but sadly XPadder can't handle analogue imputs, they become digital.

not sure about all that but, arma 2 has analogue inputs for various stuff and I profiled it up last night to fly helicopters/planes without any trouble.. So dunno .. have you tried the 5.4 version which is his "payware" one..?
and everygame ive been playing on ps2 and wii ive been able to configure xpadder to work for it unless it already works say in ps2 as standard for the game..
which was a bit weird cause okami didnt need hardly any fiddling with..
its the reason i used xpadder because the njoy option wasnt a favorable one as the analogue sticks failed to take input correcly when setting it up, so xpadder fixed that up no problem..

I think you can use the convert to mouse inputs on xpadder to give you whats needed and thats a mouse effect regarding pressure relating to how fast you move like you would the mouse pointer..
Ive read you can set that up in game as what you want then use xpadder to relate to it but convert to mouse inputs and all is dandy.. ill have to verify it later but reading about it seems that its successful in doing so...

Aye, you can convert to mouse inputs for analogue controls, but how many games have seen that lets you map mouse to move, instead of keyboard to move?

Oh i read it as you set the controls as you would with say keys, and the padder end just converts those keys on padder to mouse inputs.. I dunno its intersting shit the trigger on out joypads should be axis as well correct?
its kind of confusing as all the sticks and trigers have a drop down now that give you options to choose all axis types inverted as well plus slider types..
