LAn with Hamachi works for you guys? For me don't works, I can't see any servers...maybe someone make a fix...
Edit: I found TeknoGods.dll Beta 9 and maybe work with this one too...but I need try it.

I have a never before used Live key but not gonna try and possibly ruin it on this piece of dog shit. UT3 is about 10x better.
BTW uninstalling works great, I don't know what that boundle clone was blubbering about.

It's a rip of the Steam version with a homemade installer from what I know, doesn't mean it's terrible or anything but it might not get rid of everything.
(Settings for example, stuff stored in the User / Documents and Settings folder and such.)

Tried running this game but it will not work on my computer. It just shows a busy icon. I can still use the computer but I have to reset to kill the program. Also, will not work with any of the .exe's or with the Skidrow fix.

Bought a key on the net. Multiplayer is really fun, too bad there are so few servers yet and almost no people on them. Hope it gets better soon..

This could be a serious problem, since my sensation is that the game will never have a decent number of active players...
But who knows, maybe there are a lot of people who liked the beta and they're planning to buy it.

I instaled this game and manually instaled directx and physix , and when the game loads, after 30 seconds this shit appears :
"Failed to intialize Games for Window Life" , and then it crashes to desktop
Anyone have some advice? I just want to play SP , I dont care for MP.
Solution ?

I installed all this things from the sector 8 installer, it was automatic. Should I install it manually ??? Any other ideas ??

Doesn't the section 8 installer just place the files along with where you installed it?
If that doesn't work try download the newest LIVE client as per the above post.
(Microsoft's download website, should be version 3 with the first update, should be only version available from their website actually so it doesn't matter much, hehe.)
EDIT: Could try to disable LIVE by renaming that yellow looking catalogue (.exe.cat) file as well, works in some titles like Batman and Fallout 3 but it depends on how it's integrated.
(Above unlock codes won't work without LIVE for example albeit they're multiplayer oriented anyways, heh.)

nothing works, I tried updating live, and eveything, and it fucked up games that were working ok before. I dont know, is there any specific solution to this, does it metter what version of game ???? Anuthing, anybody ???? How did u guys instaled this fuckin game ???

Ive just installed the game and i got a load of errors eg: it wouldnt start, i found on another forum it said you have to totaly uninstall anything related to GFWL then reboot, the reinstalled the game ran it and it started and runs well.

i simply installed the game without any problems. no errors, no problems. so i'd say it's most likely it's all about the LIVE installation. i've installed the one coming with the game and it works fine for me! try also updating the DX with what the game comes.

On what OS are you playing it ??? I tried running it on win xp Sp3 , but as I said, so far not luck at all.
I installed just first time the live , directx, and physix that comes with the game and automatically runs during game installation, and it didn't work. Then, I read somewhere on this forum that I should not let this happened, that is , to install manually this things from the game folder after installation of game. I did both things, nothing worked. I applied the crack fix , that didn't help neither. What happens is that when I start game , before reinstalling physicx game starts with the LIVE logo in and then game crashes after few seconds. When I reinstall physicx , then game starts without LIVE logo and when it says "Failed to initialize Games for Window Live" , fuckin game crushes. When I reinstalled LIVE, then again the same thing, when the game starts no LIVE logo and after "Failed to initialize Games for Window Live" game crushes. What makes me mad, games like "DOW 2" and "Battle stations Pacific" who also require LIVE worked completely fine and none of this bullshit reinstall was needed. Now, after all this messing around, I cant play those game no more, because something got fucked up with LIVE.....It pisses me out like crazy. I cant even start those two games anymore. I don't know what the fuck is going on.
I have to say that I didn't reinstalled system after I uninstalled live, and installed back in. I don't know does it really meters.
So, maybe this work is not working on XP ??!?! I didn't try to install it on Vista, I might try tonight.
Can somebody please write me down the steps how to install this fuckin game with all the live bullshit and the rest ?????

I had the exact same problem "starts with the LIVE logo in and then game crashes after few seconds."
Don't know for XP but in W7 i had to set in the properties vista sp2 compatibility mode and since then it's working without crashing.
But single campaign sucks and i don't care about multiplayer. Uninstall it after 20min.

Fuckin game is working on vista. I cant believe....I didn't need to mess with LIVE, just plain install, and game works normally.... I don't know why it doesn't work on XP. Anyway, the game is mediocre...
