The DLC comes with the latest patches, which you can also download separately, for fixing the widescreen issue.
Still, I'll bet it hasn't fixed 4:3 or 5:4 black borders >_>

Alright, I got the CPY version & installed it over my steam ripped version of F.E.A.R 2 & I get the same "The application failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix the problem"
What the fuck is that supposed to mean? Is the CPY copy screwed? OR am I doing something wrong here?

finished reborn from full free 2 bugs retail legal base game. that is need is to move steam folder into another place, install ripped files of the addon and to put crack. it work just fine. only 4 levels through.
now waiting for new fixes playing multiplayer and death match. it rocks.

Fuck! This is the second kaput download in a row for me. First with Arkham Asylum repack version not working and now this. Looks like I'll have to lay off for a while.
Anyway, just to reiterate, the Skidrow copy would work with the Steam ripped version correct? I don't have the DIE release at all. I only have the game in it's extracted format.

Errm, wth ? Why do I have small borders up+bottom at 1680x1050 ?
Just installed Die+Skidrow+crack, then started a new main game campaign, there's borders. All settings were set to maximum after the autodetection (flawless vistory)

That's why I usually wait for confirmation that a rlz is working. Well, the Batman leak was crying "prerelease shit" from kms away, no excuse for you there ;-D

Disable widescreen in advanced settings.

CPY alone doesnt work
CPY release + SKIDROW crack MIGHT work
Skidrow release + Skidrow crack- to be on the safe side

I just noticed that game loads a lot faster using SKIDROW proper than it did with CPY and RevLoader.

What exactly did Skidrow mean with this:
"If you got our previous v1.04 installed or for that matter, any other update installed, then this setup will take care of this and fix missing update files."
Does their v1.04 update missed some files or what? Or is this just a bad construction for "install this on any version and it will get updated to 1.05"?

I think they just worded it wrongly.
Anyway, I got everything at max, but the graphics are ... unequal. Sometimes it looks like shit. I think the main problem is that there isn't enough detail in the levels, not enough destructible shit.
I'm shooting some monitors and stuff, but most of it is indestructible, tech-fail.

Which folder did you install the skidrow release to ? Did you already have the Die rlz installed ?

And if that steam ripped version is a good one it'll works, game doesn't look to any files at all, it just extracts files.
