I have downloaded the DIE version and used an .EXE patch 1.03 and now it works without any loader or crack.
The menu shows version 1.03 and it all works just fine.

Pey I have the steam rip (or I think I do). The last couple of updates I have used (V1.02) have been in made available in a folder. They used to contain the set of files for updating & we would just need to copy past them in the F.E.A.R 2 folder to update it. Is it the same form in which you have uploaded above? I'm pretty sure the .exe based updater won't work for me, since I haven't installed it from any ISO version available on the Internet. |
Yeah, it´s the same, just copy the files and run loader.exe. You can play online.

damn really nice game! pretty long too!
too bad the ending sucked...
8.0/10 for me, would give more wasn't for the boring start and bad ending.

What do you think about the skidrow 1.04 patch?
Is better FEAR.2.Update.v1.04-DREiTAGEWACH or F.E.A.R.2.Project.Origin.v1.04.Update-SKIDROW ?

I know FEAR.2.Update.v1.04-DREiTAGEWACH or the files I uploaded work just fine with DIE release (steam-rip). No idea what SKIDROW is all about, maybe for d2d ?

It needs to be installed, it's just a little addition to the game and not stand-alone, or so I've understood it.
(Similar to the previous two map-packs but with a bit more content.)
