big names, but there wil be delays, and there will be disappointments.
I will judge 2010 in 2011.
don't forget final fantasy 13 and 14 btw
oh.. and god of war 3 too.

ghost recon 3.....you seriously think after the mess they made out of GRAW, while it was just barely close ot decent and grin is out of business, that it will be anything good? Especially the direction UBI has taken their games?
I fucking spit on it.
Deus Ex 3, HA
Mafia II and Guild Wars 2 is all im looking forward to, everything else is in the shitter,
as long as Blizzard keeps worrying about WOW expansions, you won't see d3 anytime soon, the sooner D3 comes out the sooner WoW players abandon ship

First of all, Diablo 3 isn't comming in 2010.
Second, from whole this list only titles that really look like masterpieces are:
StarCraft 2
Mafia 2
and eventually Alan Wake (although it isn't on the list)
I'm really excited about Max Payne 3 and Deus Ex 3, but as for now, we don't know anything about them, or we know very little to judge.
I don't have high hopes for Command and Conquer 4, especilaly after Red Alert 3, which was not good in my opinion.
Aliens vs Predator 3 looks like fun, but I doubt it'll be high above avarage shooter. Slightly better then avarage shooter at best.
Splinter Cell: Conviction doesn't look like Splinter Cell anymore. They completly killed stealth factor in favour of casual gaming. I hope I'm wrong, but it honestly doesn't look like masterpiece anymore (before Double Agent all Splinter Cell's were masterpieces)
As for other games on this list MMORPG games could make an impact, especially Star Wars: The Old Republic, becuase of BioWare is working on it, and because Star Wars universum can be great for such a complex game like MMORPG's are.
Star Trek Online is also tittle with high possibility for success, but I have some doubts about developers.
I'm not familiar with other games on this list so I cannot make my say anything about them.
I would add BioShock 2 and Singularity to this list, because this two games are shaping out really good.
Just to make it clear, all this is my personal opinion!

Fuck, I wan't heavy rain so hard for the PC. I actualy considered buying PS3 for it, and I'm a extreme cheap-ass

You forgot Bioshock 2.
And blizz never said Diablo III aint coming. they just said that they would only release 1 big game every year and now with starcraft II also delayed to 1H '10 this means that blizz now will release 2 games in 2010.
Starcraft 2 + diablo III.
WoW: Cataclysm also in 2010 but the cow has lost some milk so will they release 3 big games then perhaps?

Well I don't know, really. Lots of these titles are just "names": Ghost Recon 3, Deus Ex 3, Max Payne 3, Splinter Cell Conviction, C&C 4 share all a first, legendary episode that made the saga "awesome". But the sensation is that all these stepson won't be awesome at all.

Gran Turismo 5 ?
Yeah i know it's PS3 exclusive but so is GOW III. The GT series is one , if not the . most sucessfull racing franchise around and it's also a huge seller so it's worth mentionning.

They specifically said not to expect D3 in 2010:

Maybe they're hinting that it'll happen late this year, but I doubt it. 2011 wouldn't surprise me at all, at this point.

Heavy Rain was never announced for PC.
I'm pretty sure that they meant to list platform as "PS3" instead of "PC," because the PS3 version does indeed use PhysX.

i think that the list contain splinter cell 5
i don't think this year going to be very special..as said above we will see disapointments as usual and delays and probably some good surpises, maybe it will be one of the better years but i don't think it will be the best ever.. |
