Just saw "Burn After Reading" thinking this be a funny movie, hell no. This movie was tragic.

you think: "this should be a funny movie"

you're right, the trailer had nothing to do with the movie.
the coens' movies are hit or miss. they've got good ones and they've got shit ones. this one was part of the later category, like ladykillers and intolerable cruelty.

100% agree, I won't spoil anything but it was portrayed completely different in the trailer and the actual movie was like WTF!!!

Tragic ? dunno, for my taste it was more like an awesome black comedy - the movie was very funny Smile

Agree with that 100%...really liked it.

Since I didn't have seen the trailer before I watched the movie I wasn't so "shocked" Very Happy ...anyway I enjoyed it so far.

I like BAR....strange sort of humour but funny still. Fucked up to...good movie.

Tho I HATE Clooney with a passion.

Guy should not be allowed to make movies....especially after his performance as Batman and Michael Clayton.
