Are you THAT picky where you'll decide weather or not to download a game based on if it has antialiasing?

IGN's gone live with the world's first Wolfenstein review, awarding Raven's latest effort a somewhat generous 7.3/10, when you take into account all the griping:
Spoiler: | The single-player campaign runs about as long as most; you'll probably get about six to eight hours out of it. Then it's on to multiplayer, and it's interesting in that it goes for a decidedly retro look and feel; it ditches the glossier graphics of the single-player game to give character models and animation that is reminiscent of Return to Castle Wolfenstein, the 2001 game. Yet the multiplayer modes themselves feel relatively rudimentary and they aren't as deep as the popular Return to Castle Wolfenstein mod Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, which is puzzling. Anothe problem is that Wolfenstein is competing against another recent Activision World War II shooter, the wildly popular and deep Call of Duty: World at War.
With almost a decade between installments, it's impossible to argue that id is trying to milk the Wolfenstein license. Yet this also means that a lot of evolution has gone on in the genre. It's admirable that Raven Software recognized this with Wolfenstein, but you can't help but wish that they developed the kernel of the ideas in this game into something more. As it is, this new Wolfenstein comes off as an engaging, though otherwise forgettable, shooter.

Already been posted on previous page.
Any Chance somebody can post a Screenshot at full settings? I want to see how it compares with the MP Beta, which is meant to have alot of the graphical touches removed same as the final MP part.

7.3 and 4/5 are pretty much the same (4/5 = 8, 3/5 = 6 .. sooo...)
anyway, intro movie was fantastic, then it kinda went downhill. It still feels ok enough for me tom finish it, but i expected a bit more ... we will see ...

i havent played the pc version yet. But I tried the 360 version, and it was so good, I decided to hold off till I could play it on the pc. And I am not a stickler for Crysis like graphics that are unplayable. If u want photorealistic graphics, go watch a farking movie...LOL

that's good news. can't wait to play it. rtcw is one of the best fps in my opinion-- brings me the good memories. hope the new wolfenstein is same good or better. |
+1, RTCW was such a surprise! Great graphics and gameplay. The weapons were awesome and the enemies were cool! Battling Nazi Super Soldiers FTW! I have heard good things about Wolfenstein so we should be in good hands.

No, it wasn't. Xatrix did it, guys from Quake 2 and Kingpin. RTCW never had a single patch, everything was flawless. Raven's Wolfenstein already has 1.1 patch:

No idea how they managed to fuck up so bad and use the engine like this. I mean, even the fucking Doom 3 alpha that was leaked in 2001 look better than this.
