Anyone know where the safe is that is connected to the terminal you find in the storage area? I can't seem to find it over there and i am wondering now if it somewhere else.

Well I just finished mothership Zeta and am very disappointed in it. I think this was the worst out of all the DLC'. Its a shame too because it had potential and could have been used to further expand to story and understanding of the fallout universe. Instead it was just all action and ends up just making more questions.

You used the UK patch when you should have used the US.

The GFWL now appears, but I can't patch it to 1.7, the patch would just start updating and disappear within a split second, both UK & US patches do that..
probably kaspersky I'll give it a try

Has anyone managed to find the Firelance yet?
I just discovered the alien crash site and some fucking raider took the damn Alien Blaster. So after around 1 hour of dying repeatedly, shooting and ducking behind rocks I finally managed to zap him with the mes matron and take it from him.
I picked up all the ammo too, this gun is awesome. But I want the firelance. Anyone know how to trigger the event that makes the firelance drop from the sky?

Firelance is actually weaker unless you have the Pyromaniac perk... There's a massive amount of locations where the event can occur, and the only way you can 'force' it save near one of them but before the random event triggers, and hope it's the Firelance (luck affects the chance of these special encounters happening somewhat).
Youtube has plenty of Firelance videos, just check one to see where it happened to them and then go there as well. Or save yourself the trouble and add it via console.

The Pitt was meh. Loved the visuals but the story and how it concluded sucked.
Operation Anchorage also wasn't very good, though I loved the part where your buddy Ninja'd his way into the bunker.
Now Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta were pretty awesome. PL Opened with a bang but closed with a thud, where as MZ opened with a thud and closed with a bang.

I finally got a chance to play Fallout 3! It's great! I couldn't play it because my ASUS Xonar didn't have any good drivers to play it. At least for my setup. It just kept crashing on me in Vista and Windows 7 know matter what I did. Finally ASUS came out with a new Windows 7 driver and now the sound works on my pc including my mic for L4D! Very nice game, I loved the way it started with you being born. I just got outside and I am standing by the sign that says Megaton -->. I installed the DLC in this order OA, Pitt, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta. I will install Broken Steel later on after I see the original ending. Fantastic game so far. Looking forward to getting some better guns and armor.

Glad you like it. However, I'd advise you to install Broken Steel asap. For one thing it doesn't alter the ending per se. The "old" ending will play out pretty much exactly as if you didn't have BS installed, but then after that new stuff starts up. On top of that, it also gives you 10 more levels, more perks, more weapons and more enemies - and all those are available regardless of if you've reached the actual BS story content yet. So, installing it is win-win really.

How do I make my old Fallout 3 saves work with these new DLCs.
Old saves (on WinXP).
I copy the saves over but all my stats are reset, my perks gone, my weapons and items gone.

Did you make sure to put the saves in the proper folder? Documents and Settings\User\My documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves in XP, not sure about Vista. Also, did you use any mods in those saves that you don't have in place now?

Difference being in patches.
I played the game pre-DLC releases.
Now I'm playing with 1.7 patch and the DLCs.
I decided to stuff it and go ahead and cheat my level back.
However the player.addperk [code] command doesnt fkn work anymore

Then you gotta be doing something wrong because I'm playing 1.7 with all DLCs and for me all the console commands work? O.o
