Sounds about right, Windows has always had 2-3 years development cycles; Vista was the only exception, and it was due to the development "reset" and move to Server 2003 codebase.

Ill stick with Windows XP until then.. Hahaha..Hopefully Windows 7 is worth the upgrade.

xbox360 is dx9c
winxp gets ports from xbox360
so if they will not make a dx12 console i will still be on winxp

So this means Windows 7 should be without alot of goodies and they are saving it for Windows 8...
Great...Typical software companies... No wonder people are tired of them...

Yes they have released a patch that makes the elite support DX10, it there's also one that supports 3D vision and holographic devices.

People whom beta tested Win7 gets a Ultimate edition free... Man, people who bought Vista should get HALF PRICE deduction buying Win7...
Gonna try Beta testing for Win8, maybe I be lucky and get a Ultimate for free...
