Sorry, but few flying papers and some smoke here doesn't enhance the gameplay expirience at all. Are we going to play the game or just watch how toilet papers float in the air? These effects are quite achievable with havoc and other physics engines that are optimized not just for a piece of hardware and work great on all kinds of machines. I think these effects can be achieved even without the use of an external physical engine. As Natan pointed out the use of physx is silly.

Well I'm sorry you can't experience this game properly, instead you have to feel bitter and post angry comments about it
How did you understand i didn't enjoy it fully? On the contrary, i had a fun time playing it even without the godly physx. Cause i'm interested in gameplay not in flying shit papers. You just have no arguments but troll...

God I'm so sick and tired of word "troll" overuse in this forum. Every time someone loses an argument he starts calling other side for trolling. I gave you clear proof of why Physx in this game is gameplay and atmosphere enhancing, this is not trolling, THESE ARE FACTS.
Yes, the screenshots do show it does add atmosphere to the game. It looks good.
But that doesn't fundamentally alter the underlying gameplay of the game, which remains the same.
Exactly, but you can say the same about resolution, antialiasing and so on. These things are not game altering so why bother with having them maxed? Might aswell play on a Netbook with lowest settings possible by tweaking .ini's.
Just stop trying to make everyone else think like you do.
I played the game on a friend's computer which has a gtx260 and it's practically the same as of gameplay means. Nothing different.
Will try it I as soon I get home Hope i can enable hardware pshsyx without fps drop with my 295. I remember having a 20fps drop in Mirror´s Edge with a 9800gx2.
You need to install the PhysX drivers anyway as the game needs those libraries or what to call it, it can run via the CPU but at a rather large performance hit since the type of calculations needed are quite slow on a standard CPU, previously the AGEIA PPU handled it (Pretty effectively as well for it's time albeit not many titles used it and by now it's rather slow.) NVIDIA then purchased the entire thing (As competition Intel purchased Havok) and by now the PPU has been discarded (Since the 8.04.09 drivers actually, they're simply not working with newer ones.) so you need a NVIDIA capable GPU (CUDA to be more specific, 8600 or so to GTX 295 but a decent 9800 / GT 250 is recommended if you plan to both game and use PhysX on the same card.)
Hope that explains it somewhat, I'm not that good at it since the NVIDIA card is in the family computer and it's a somewhat aged 7900 GTX and my primary card is a 4870 X2 so I usually don't enable it.
(Although I keep the drivers up to date to avoid bugs and issues although it's primarily for GPU acceleration instead of software mode / CPU based.)
Implementation of Physx in UE3 is a fast process. It's just an excuse not to release the pc version simultaneously with the console versions. And it's not like they have been developing the game for two years and in the final line of production they decided to include physx.

Still, it´s a silly excuse. It´s like stardock manager put it, "The people who are going to buy stuff are going to buy it, and the people who are never gonna buy it, well, who cares about them? They're not a lost sale."
Xbox360 owners would either buy the game or download it. I don´t have a 360, but if I did and I also had a powerful PC, Ii´d rather wait and buy it on PC. Delaying the game makes no sense imo.
