Thanks for the notice, will see if it's available for download then, might post some screens and information on it as well though I guess it won't be long until it leaks and is available for everyone. Smile

EDIT: Not available in whatever region I'm counted to be in.
(Sweden? Nordic? European?)

What's the size unpacked?
(LIVE usually reports the packed size first, it's a compressed CAB file, and then the real size once it's installed, that ESP/BSA combination.)

EDIT: Got it to download, just go to the game specific downloads and it's under the Fallout 3 category downloads.
(Though it says 307 MB here, unsure how big it is uncompressed.)

It is probably small since it takes place aboard the alien ship as it does not take a lot of space to make the same corridors over and over again.

Download just completed actually, it's 527 MB unpacked.
(Data BSA, Sound BSA and ESM file.)

EDIT: BSA unpacked, five sets of armor (Might just be partial stuff thoughl ike a hat, not a entire suit.), eleven weapons and a ton of misc items plus other general meshes and textures.
(Five creature models, as above this is mainly just from model/texture files, there's more variety of these in the game.)

EDIT: Altering weapon textures similar to this mod, http://fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=4457 - helps with detail. Smile

EDIT: Done.

If you were to unpack the BSA file and go into the folder that I uploaded (In the BSA archive, not the above RAR file.) you would see the same textures twice, one slightly lower resolution (256x256 instead of 512x512 mostly, half resolution to be clear.)

Fallout3 by default uses these low-res weapons and ammo textures for most but not all weapons and ammo when playing in third person and also on NPC's and similar even when in in first person.

To be a bit more technical when in first person the other set is loaded (Alienblaster.dds is replaced by Alienblaster1stperson.dds) and the detail level increases on your equipped weapon albeit the low-res stuff is still used for NPC's.

By replacing either (Or both) the models or textures you work around this and the affected weapons and ammunition always uses their highest detail level. Smile

I installed the game, and some of the dlc.

But when I activate the dlc in data files, it doesn´t stay activated.

I´m on 1.7 version! Is this the problem?

Just check them and forget about it, launcher unchecks everything when you click it so just check them once. Smile

EDIT: Some early "Zeta" screens.

Bit of a spoiler but I found some pretty nice stuff on the ship, even found that horse thing from the loading screens.
(Oh and without mods and cheating the "Mysterious Stranger" you can get a unscoped 44. magnum, albeit the unique versions now available from for example Broken Steel or even normal Fallout 3 are far better.)

Darnified UI (It's on TesNexus, unsure if that's the latest version but it hasn't progressed much at all for some time now.)

EDIT: I mean Fallout3Nexus of course. Smile

JB,

when I tried the DarnifiedUI (which i really wanted) last attempt i made, the UI worked, but I had a few issues like the quit message on menu was hidden partially, and the ammo count ingame was slightly over the AP bar, and any info like "you lack lockpick skill of 100 to do that" the T on the end of that would end up on a diff line and same for all info popups regarding last letter..

I installed using FOMM, in the package manager selected from folder, and then activated and overwrite files.. anything else i need to know? Also i find with that mod i cant run full screen it just crashes out, window mode is fine.

Pain cause id like to use it but cant right now it seems.... Reverting/deactivating the UI mod again works fine and the old stuff and placement is all ok..

Ps. I read the nexus comments but nothing there says anything about trouble issues, only to msg the guy as he said if there are problems, so unless ur aware of whats what, I guess that will be my next port of call.

it's called a save game, at teh end before you leave the vault you get to change everything. Probably a save for that.

I started the game only to realize that i can't continue (the continue button is grayed out). First i thought that all my saves had been erased somehow, i did a check and everything was fine. All my save games are there (my documents -> my games) and are intact. But nevertheless i can't continue. Probably it has something to do with that shitty live. How can i fix it, how can i use my saves again?

Saves when logged into LIVE are stored in the \Save\YourLiveUserName\ folder, save the game once when logged in for it to create this folder and then copy your regular saves over to that folder. Smile

As for Darnified UI you need to read the official forum thread, author modified several XML files to use a different font so the configuration files (Fallout.ini, albeit altering FalloutPrefs.ini doesn't hurt, better to keep both files identical.) has to be modified for the new fonts.

Daaamnit, I had a bug with one of my mods that when you leveled up the game froze... (FOOK Anchorage) But the hotfix for that fixed the prob.. But apparently it came back now that I installed Zeta Crying or Very sad Gay.

Here's my mod list in case anyone would know how to fix this,
