The article mentions that the 600p mode was used for the previous two CoD titles as well, though this CoD game will try to fulfill a constant 60 frames per second.
EDIT: Along with 2xAA

Amazon have this on preorder for £30.
Silly question. I played CoD 4 on the PC for SP but on the xbox for MP. I presume the PC version is going to have dedicated servers rather than the crappy setup they had on the xbox where someone would host and you would get crappy lag?

Wow, you never played online FPS game on a PC? Yes servers are dedicated, they also support up to 50 players for CoD4 for some insane havoc, also custom maps, mods and server configurations; can't do that on console.

Hahaha, I'm NOT gonna pay such a high price for the game. Sonner or later they all end up in some kind of bargain bin and that's probably where I'll pick it up for a normal price. >.<
115 bucks....that's just fucking nuts.

What most publishers today don't get, is that you sell more, the lower the price is. If games were lowered to about 30-40$, they would sell much better.
And it's just pure bullshit saying games need to be 115$, for the developers to make a profit. I don't see how you need to raise the price, when you earn 60 million $, on a game you spent 10 million making.

I am curious how fast the piracy will rise, if the prices rise too.

I think most games are fairly priced for PC. The highest i could find this for was £44.73, that is a bit too much but not close to the £55.00 mentioned in the article a few pages back, and most places have this for £30.00 pre-order. 30 pound for hundreds of hours gameplay isn't bad.

Most games today only offer 10 hours at most for a play-through though.

You gotta be a very pessimistic person, if you have to hope for a good MP of a Call of Duty game made by IW.
