Why? Raven has a solid track record plus X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the best movie tie-in game in a long time, which would suggest they're in top form atm.

Only Jedi Academy was good. Their games have terrible level disighn and it's not like ID software. Doom 3 is better than Quacke 4

I guess with alot of older games yeah the level design was pretty hit and miss, but as devs put out more titles most learn from their mistakes and the games do get better, for example as was already said Wolverine was good and had pretty solid level design with a nice mix of puzzles and action even if it was quite linear.
