Anyone tried this game? If it's anything like the legendary TIM games, it should be a blast.

I loved the old "the incredible machine" games
I tried this one it's in 3D , I just messed around with the tutorial a bit , didn't get much into it
I'll get back to it later , I just feel that the 3D made it a little bit more complicated

Do you have the absolutely latest a) PhysX driver software and b) video card driver software?

A:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/physx_8.06.12_whql.html

Required to properly utilize PhysX on NVIDIA cards and should also be used by standard AGEIA card users, these are the latest drivers as far as I know.
(NVIDIA purchased AGEIA and are now handling development for those who wonder.)

B:
You will also need proper drivers which will enable selected NVIDIA cards to utilize PhysX, at the moment I belive those are the G92 cores and up which I belive means the 9xxx and 2xx serie.
(Unsure which, if any, 8xxx cards are supported.)

And here's a list of PhysX titles.
http://developer.nvidia.com/object/physx_good_company.html
(EDIT: Some use the software solution though, uses no drivers and relies on the CPU, Gothic 3 and Mass Effect would be good examples.)

EDIT: Also, while it's the video drivers which enable the Geforce cards to utilize PhysX it's the actual PhysX drivers which allows you to set which component will handle PhysX properties (And some core functionalities) such as either the GPU or the PPU. (Graphics Processing Unit, which means the graphics card or the Physics Processing Unit, which means the AGEIA card.)
(Or perhaps they just include the above listed driver, unsure as I use a 2900XT card from ATI.)

A bit too technical perhaps so this is the setting I mean.

The incredible machine was great, I remeber playing it on Christmas once and it said 'Marry Christmas' all over the screen Laughing why today''s games don't have that, like you play Manhunt and it says Marry Christmas when your chopping someone up, probably because of stupid racial/religious tolerance these days Jews and Muslims would be offended or something Rolling Eyes

I have a 9800gtx, installed latest nvidia drivers (177.66 Vistax64), installed nvidia PhysX drivers and the game refuse to let me play the PhysX levels. When I go in the "NVIDIA PhysX Properties" it say I have no PhysX processor installed and I can only select GeForce PhysX, not AGEIA PhysX. Demos works fine though.

The game doesn't support it. I think it's a problem with nV's drivers.

I don't think this case is so bad. SKIDROW's release has additional content that CPY's does not, meaning that their PROPER reason is perfectly valid, and practical. CPY's wasn't just nuked due to labeling issues. The REPACK reason sounds valid, too; including the wrong files could be a serious problem.

Anyways, if anyone wants this game free, legally and legitimately, check this out. Go here, make an account (you can put in crap info for the registration form), log in, click the "Take a Spin" button, spin the wheel, and you will (if not on the first spin, then really soon after that, guaranteed) get a free CD-key for the game (they also provide a downloadable installer, natch). It's the "Plus" version of the game, so, it should have all the bonuses that SKIDROW's release has.

The site and the installer itself specifically refers to it as "Crazy Machines 2 +," so, I'd assume it does indeed mean "Plus." Very Happy
