Well duh, obviously it's your opinion, just like 90% of the posts made on this forum. My point was that you like to exaggerate things, just to make it more melodramatic. Either that or you're an idiot who thinks if you don't like something it makes it terrible.

Looks like you have yet to learn the distinction between taste and objective assessment.

What so you think claiming it's your opinion somehow makes you immune to criticism for it?

Mate, what the hell is your problem? You got some kind of hard-on for me, is that it? You have to follow me around the forum, poking and criticising the stuff I say just to get some attention? Hey, if you want my phone number all ya gotta do is ask Rolling Eyes

I express my opinions and I don't hold back. Why should I? Yes, to me, the sequel was insultingly bad. The first game was, and still is, one of my favourite PC action-RPGs, so I was eagerly waiting for the sequel (or to be more technically accurate; spin-off) and when it finally arrived, it was bad. Real bad. Bugged to fuck, ugly as all hell, stupid gameplay mechanics, lacklustre plot and unappealing music. Yet it bore the "Divinity" name. I found that an insult to a great title.

This is my opinion, obviously, and I'm sick of taking shit from retards who dislike me having one. I'm passionate about games, dude, so naturally I have *very* strong opinions about them. I'm here to stay and unless you put me on ignore, or unless I get perma-banned, then you're just going to have to get used to reading my posts. Deal with it, seriously.

Remember the awful voice acting in the second game? The beta/demo/whatever received so many complaints about the cheesy voice acting for the dark knight character that it had to be re-recorded.... and it was still terrible.

Well based on the screens and trailers it looks OK, kinda similar to Oblivion or the first "Two Worlds" in terms of visuals so yeah it's a bit behind but still delivers OK visuals though the LOD system looks a bit bland or how to say it.
(Based on a older flytrough video when on a dragon.)

It's using GameBryo? still it's a very flexible framework so it might run pretty well. Smile
(Morrowind, LOKI, Freedom Force, Age of Camelot and others all use it but heavily modified.)

Yes, FO3 runs quite well without much stuttering at all (way more optimized than Oblivion or Morrowind) so hopefully they've modified it just as good.

It's a great engine, looks amazing with a ton of mods and it's modable and can be big, it depends what they'll do with it.

July 24th is German release and I highly doubt German version will also have English.

Meaning this coming thursday? couldn't find any info regarding specific german date.
Times like these I'm glad I took the time to learn german Razz

Of course it would be better if the release was simultaneous.

EDIT: German forums and this site confirms the date.
Having watched the interviews and trailers in german, I think this is the most interesting rpg this year.
Dragon Age isn't nearly as interesting, I'd rather replay The Witcher.
Divinity 2 actually brings something new to the table.

Was more interested in this one, will work until the English files become available later on, unless I figure out the file format or something before then.
(Doubt it's included though, hehe.)

Someone on the official forums mentioned it'd be SecuROM without internet activation, but had no source to prove it.

Edit: Found this:

Quote:

I'm not completely sure since my german's so crap, but I think it says the same thing there. It's from an interview with one of the testers: http://www.pcgames.de/aid,690457/Divinity-2-Ego-Draconis-Drei-Fragen-an-den-Tester-Kopierschutz-Story-und-mehr/PC/Special/

yeah he's saying that it uses securom but no limitations like online activation or limited amount of installations.
appears to be solid info, not just some rumor or something.
