Fuck the controls........they can eventually be edited in a short amount of time after release.

What won't get released unless this game has a HUGE fan-base, or at least a dedicated one.......a texture/resolution mod.

The quality of the "port" is what we should be concerned with IMO.

So far, with the size (7gb) it looks promising.........*points at Prototype

Will be interesting to see how the game perfoms, might be fun.

Also I found this in the registry after completing the first level of Bionic Commando Rearmed, use RegEdit and you should unlock the "classic" skin.

HKey_Current_User\Software\Grin\Shared\

String value called db_retro_skin with a value of e03ae879d5441029e52f31b33a4181de

EDIT: Based on the NFO it's one of the more recent SecuROM 7 protections (Which is kinda expected.) will be intereting to see if it's even runnable.
(DTE might work, unsure about Yasu.)

EDIT: Though it doesn't really matter, now that a clone release is out it'll be taken by some other group and cracked.

Hey I have heard that the PC version is able to stream the game right off the disc like the consoles. Can anyone confirm this????

Mentioned a bit above, also there's nearly nothing on the disc aside from the installer files, seems it's all packed in those .cab archives and no you can't stream the game data to play while installing (Was asked above.)

EDIT: Uses OpenAL and PhysX so best to update those to the latest version along with DirectX.

EDIT: DTE and YASU didn't work.

Depends on your computer, supposedly Nforce chipsets work very well with this but for me it won't authorize wether I use YASU (Shutdown exe manually afterwards) or DTE with either SCSI or IDE adapter and even if it's blocked access via the registry.

It works by using dt pro (scsi, havent tried vIde cause w7 doesnt support it) and yasu.

There are NO video options at all, you can only change the res.

That unpacker from the Terminator Salvation thread (Originally for the GRAW games.) works pretty well (Quick.bundle) to get all the various files albeit I'm a bit unsure what use they are as from what I can see (Gamefolder\data\Settings after unpacking the files.) there's not much to adjust.

The unpacker I mentioned is for the game files after installing the actual game, access to the various files that configure the game though from my fiddling with terminator salvation you couldn't do that much.
(There's a ton of extra files and commandline parameters but they seem deactivated as they all point to a different EXE file.)

Also the game should support both DX10 and DX9 (Mentioned in previews and the game has shader files for both renderers.) with the addition of AA under DX10.

I have no idea how to choose dx9 or dx10, it´s just one exe.

Maybe by changing some of these vaules, though i´m not sure whether i´m running the game in dx10 already.

God Dam it. So many jaggies. The lack of AA is just killing this engine's potential. Anyone else found a way to force AA? Sad
