so , after 5 years or so , my computer seems to have given it's last breath..
after i power it up , leave it on for less than 1 or 2 minutes it restarts , cpu temperature is like 40 something degreess C , i applied thermal paste yesterday.
i also tried another graphics card , switching ram and so on and it didnt help.
i assume it's the CPU , or the motherboard
any ideas ?
so , i don't really have the money for another pc atm , so that's why i would really need this one to be up and running again..

yea, sounds like either a PSU going or a short occurring somewhere on the motherboard
but since it's been working for five years already, it's pretty certainly the PSU
that's kind of over the average lifetime for those already

well , mounted another PSU , but the other one worked , i changed the PSU 2 times already in those 5-6 years .. but those 2 wouldnt even start when they fried.
unplugged the one i had on my rig , didnt look fried (the insulation platic thing from the interior usually grows like a bubble) , but what caught my eye was that the main cable that supplies the mb with power had some really really fried pins .
like this
mounted another psu , windows still didnt start , i tried' last known working config.' and to my surprise it started well , rebooted and now it works again .
but like i said , it's probably the motherboard , something is faulty and keeps frying my PSU's .

that looks nasty
i'm surprised your mobo is still functional
i would figure there was something wrong with your AC outlet jumping around and putting a strain on your PSU, but blowing through like that still shouldn't happen
