I don't think swap magic users will be able to play this. The toc size of Mercenaries is around that of GTA3 which I think has the largest TOC size right now(since I THINK PS2 doesn't count the dual layers for the TOC size). I am using swap myself and I get stuck after the ESRB rating booting with GTA3... so we may have to get the rip Sad or buy the game Smile

Don't take my word for it though because I'm just speaking from my own limited knowledge...

i heard it runs with cogswap... but i cannot verify untill tommorow because of crappy general use isp speeds here in the uk

edit anyone wants to try download and burn cogswap img from http://www.swapmagicfix.com/CogSwapLoader_V1.0.zip (use ps2 settings in alcohol as per normal ps2 cd) then follow this

1)load cogswap with swapmagic cd (use slidecard or flip)

2)press eject and put in either gta3/dvd swapmagic disk ,press eject again to load

3)wait for the "yellow" cogswap screen (its yellow Smile ) ,and then press "x" on controller and wait for "purple" cogswap screen

4)at purple cogswap screen use your swap method (slide/flip) for your backup Wink of this game ..press "x" on controller and hopefully play[/url]

I would remove that link jonels or a mod. Dvd generator is warez and highly illegal.

Or remove dvd generator 1.50 from the package, then it will be fine jonels.

yes you must keep it order ,just leave isobuster open so you can see the file order ...also remember to click the volume tab and put in the correct info, use caps and fill in the "volume name" and the "disc id" (disc id has two boxes so you don't have to put in the underscore on that one)...well thats what i did anyhow

note.. at one the startup screens is does seem to take a while to move on

Hi. I know this is an old thread, but I just got the game and have use for this file. Is there anyone who can host it again, or tell me where I can find it? Thanks in advance Smile

Thank you very much! Now it works. Just a shame I managed to download the Spanish version, instead of the English. I hope the articles and e-mails aren't very important Smile

Fun game, thanks again! Very Happy
