long over due, added Devil May Cry 4 and discovered that the Road Rash game from 95 works with no problems as well. It's plug n play with the 360 pad

Which one of them FPS games work as PES game where you can play against/with eachother?

Looking for games that I can hookup 2 or more gamepads and play with friends against computer like doing missions and crap as a team. I've tried co-op but it was such a hassle, and 2 computers..etc, just not as nice as using 1 computer and play together you know?

Which of these games are the best ones to use the ganepad forcefeedback?

I bought the logitech rumblepad II and I am trying to find games with a very good force feedback experience. I tested one or two games but the force feedback was poor or badly coded.

Have you tried GRID yet? One of the best racing games ever made, for the PC version they even went so far as to let you use the sensativity of the triggers on the 360 pad

Lost Planet I believe did a good job as well. I think Spiderman 3 had force feedback

I unfortunately can only vouch for the 360 gamepad as it's the only one I'll use

Kane & Lynch, Lego Series are the only ones I can think off the top of my head that fit the description. The lego games go old school and have that "please press start to join game" or whatever to get another person playing with you. Kane & Lynch normally only allows 1 gamepad and 1 person on the keyboard/mouse but a user here found a way to bypass that and the directions are posted with the game in the list in the spoiler.

I played GRID but it suck. When you collide with other cars or the wall, there is no forcefeedback. You only feel the engine, when you jump, etc.
At least with the logitech rumble II.

I think this will work. I'll have to test it with GTA 4.

I fired up Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition (with v1.3.0 Vista Patch) and googled a tweak to get the 360 pad working perfectly.

The problem with this game is that the right analog stick is mapped to movement.

Adding this code to your DMC3SE.ini will ensure that buttons and sticks are mapped correctly:

Code:

#----------------------------------------------------------------------
#

[Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows)]
START = 7
SELECT = 6
CIRCLE = 1
TRIANGLE = 3
SQUARE = 2
CROSS = 0
L1 = 4
R1 = 5
L2 = 11
R2 = 12
L3 = 8
R3 = 9
L<->R = 1

If you are using a wired 360 controller, you will need to alter the "Controller (Xbox 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows(" text to match your controller name. This name can be found in the game controllers control panel.

The only PC games that need gamepad support are console ports and racing games. I don't get it why would someone play Crysis or Far Cry 2 with gamepad. All PC racing games come with full gamepad, joystick and wheel support. PC flying sims support flying sticks.

Dont know if this was mentioned or if it doesent qualify since this thread is about 360 controller, but got a wilcatz ps3 wireless gamepad that works with the pc. No need to get any kind of extra app just plug in the ps3 blutooth adapter and two batteries in the controller and you're good to go.
Works very nice with the pc version of SF4.

actually this thread isn't about the 360 controller, i just state that it's what I use for testing as it's what I have. This thread is just abou games that natively support gamepads

Action: Red Faction Guerilla (see above)
Batman: Arkham Asylum (see above)

It makes me so angry that Activision won't support gamepads with their Call of duty games,I would love to play Call Of Duty 4,Call Of Duty 5 World At War and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 but I just can't stand playing first person shooters or any game with the mouse and keyboard,it just sucks.

I have tried apps like xpadder but they just don't do a good enough job,most of the time you never get the rumble feature with xpadder,and the right analog stick for looking around in a first person shooter just isn't very smooth,just not the same as a pc game that has had the controller support properly implemented by the game designer.

Consoles versions of the games run at low res,look crap and run like crap framerate wise.
The fact that I like the console controller doesn't mean I like consoles,I want the best of both worlds,play the game with the 360 controller and run the game on my beast of a pc as high as resolution I can go and highest graphics settings as I can possibly go,not have the game running at low to medium detail running anywhere from 25 to 30 frames per second as a console would run it.

Don't get me wrong if the xbox 360 could run the game like my pc does then I would be happy with the console,but it is just not the case which is why Activision should at least give people the option to use a game controller is they wish instead of locking them into the keyboard and mouse.
