game's a joke
AI is nonexistent, enemies are either scripted to jump off a window and stay right where they are and shoot, or are VERY far but able to shoot you with a 100% accuracy, which is definitely not the case for you since the bullets just fly in all directions except the one you're aiming at.
design is alright, but the bloom and HDR here is extremely over used that it appears like you're always on acid.

I thought this game had something good about it and waited for it just to be very disappointed :/
bad bad game, but the devs aren't really that experienced since the game started off as a mod but a couple of regular guys instead of professionals, if you can look pass all I've written then I guess you can find some joy in this game, but I certainly didn't.

COOP Lan Support...can it be played over Hamachi?
I'm asking because this is the only thing that can lift this game from the deep shit hole it has fallen in. Seems everybody can make a game these days especially if they use U3 tech.

There's a fix out by Vitality which fixes the zipline error, unfortunately there's another problem (Are these triggers or something?) a bit further on where you need to scale a wall and the character won't initiate the jump sequence to climb it.

Damnation.CRACKFIX-ViTALiTY
__________________________________________________________________________

Damnation (c) Codemasters

Protection .......: SecuROM v7.39.0006 & SR SDK & triggers

Date .............: May 2762 Number of Discs .........: 1

GAME NOTES

CRACKFIX: We missed a trigger in the previous
crack.

Evolving the shooter genre with its unique and
exhilarating combination of fluid action and combat,
Damnation will feature huge, open environments, frenetic
combat, daredevil acrobatics and high-octane vehicle-based
stunts. Presenting players with an intense test of
reflexes, quick thinking and rapid-fire conflict,
Damnation will feature vast, breathtaking landscapes, each
Billed as a "shooter gone vertical" and visually inspired
by iconic elements of American history, these massive
streaming landscapes will form the battlegrounds for a
post-industrial conflict between humanity and an
unstoppable arms dealer hell-bent on total world
domination. Players will be able to choose their own paths
and navigate the world by performing daredevil feats on
the edge of human ability. However, players aren't the
only ones with mind-blowing acrobatic skills; intelligent
enemies will give chase and engage players in frantic gun
fights and attacks that can come from any direction - in
Damnation's world there's no safe place to hide.
With up to three hours of actual gameplay stretching out
in front of them per level, players will need more than
just muscle power to get across each level safely.
Damnation will offer players a selection of awe-inspiring
vehicles, from motorbikes capable of launching across
seemingly infinite chasms, to huge, armour-piercing
marvels that will induce mayhem with every huge shell.
The high action will be supported with an epic and
in-depth story which, while focusing on the exploits of
the hero character Rourke, is truly an ensemble piece.
Players will meet and become involved in intricate story
plots that reveal much more than the obvious.

INSTALL NOTES

~ Unpack
~ Burn or mount
~ Install the game
~ Copy the crack from the ViTALiTY folder
~ Rot in heaven

Seems, they have used the Securom SDK to insert trigger checks inside important game scripts.

Poor Vitality cracker, this is insanely boring stuff.

EDIT: Not to mention he has to actually playtest this horrible game Laughing

yeah hafta say the vitality crackfix sends me back to desk top every time, what's with that? Maybe it needs a new game rather than a save game from earlier less -ah- efficacious pieces of release group coding. the game has copious limitations but am still enjoyin it prolly because it's the only game in town at the mo.
However bad it is it doesn't suffer from pretentiousness or overt plagiarism unlike that p.o.s. terminator. and if it is the work of a couple of upwardly mobile modders so much the better everyone has to start somewhere and it's not like we paid fer the thing.

Yeah, just mount the game in DTPro or DTLite, run YASU and it works fine.

2.5 @ IGN Laughing

Poor devs, having little experience with big-budget games, imagine them working on a title, regardless of its quality, and being bashed on forums and having such low review scores.

Install the game, avoid copying the crack and use YASU 1.6 with the latest Daemon Tools Lite version together with the mini-image on GCW or GBW. Smile
(Or wherever else you might find it, can't give a direct link due to site rules but it's easy to find.)

Yea, too bad i don't know any more tweaks. I HATE it when devs spend a lot of time/money/effort/etc to make the game and then fail at basic easy-to-do tweaks. Too much bloom, aiming and shooting feels awkward, the crosshair is too big, too ugly, little things like that are all done bad Sad Wont even mention character movement or physics..

i think this game got some cool atmospher.(remainded me of madmax world:)
there are bugs and the gfx are not verygood and the story is medium, but overall i had alot of fun.

Crazy shit,

I cant begin to feel what these people feel when doing such a project for so long, I mean it takes fuck loads of effort weather you do it good or bad, all the skills needed and time to fix shit. And then,,,

Ok fuck of your laid off team. Lulz, what a blow below the belt for alot of families etc. Unless of course its a inhouse thing where they just end up on diff projects. But must really hit your sense of worth when you put such effort in. (goes for everything in life job wise i guess though)
