Roman numerials I guess.
(VI = 5+1 or 6 and IX being 10-1 or 9 which I guess are months whereas the numbers are days so September 9th for the retail version and 26th June for the download edition, albeit some orders were handled earlier)

Seems to be fairly high priced for a download.. do you get the retail box as well for that cost?

Also only 3 activations I think. Don't know about that one though. On the bright side the Steam version is out in September.

To the people who have it, how would you say the single player game is? Well built out and solid or something that gets boring and repetitive quickly? Are there several different leagues/tournaments to play, and how are the star player improvement and team-building options?
In short, just want to know if it can be seen as a solid single player game or if most of the weight is put on multiplayer.

These things always shine most in multiplayer but so far the single player is solid.
You basically start out with a newbie team playing small tournaments (15 of 16 players currently, and not even money for a reroll) and work your way up to the Blood Bowl. The AI, at medium, is fairly ok so far (I'm by no means an expert players). All in all, based on my limited experience, I think it's worth the purchase. If you love Blood Bowl there's not even the slightest doubt.
Oh, there's also real time, but I not tried it yet.

Thanks for the info, it seems pretty cool. Used to play the table top game years ago, and then on and off on various websites.
So does it have a similar player improvement system, with players getting points for pass completions, KOs, TDs etc and then learning new abilities/stat improvements?

Screw it. Im getting this. I LOVED Chaos League.
Geez I have spent a TON of money on games this month...
Infamous, a PS3, Demon's Souls, Fight Night Round 4, Metal Gear Solid 4, Spore Galactic Adventures (for one of my kids), Sims 3... sigh. And they say we DON'T BUY games? LoL.
And, that's not counting what i bought last month. Doing my part to keep the industry going I guess.

I must say, compared to Chaos League this comentary isn't nearly as funy or good.
Might be because it's less obviously there tho. I often don't really notice it.
Either way, they do lack the chemestry and energy of the Chaos League announcers. I really miss those.

Bought it.
Sigh.
I can't control myself. I guess i'm saving up all these games for a rainy day. I don't have enough time to play all the shit I have.

Is it true the install comes with a revoke tool? Check the Start menu, thats where one guy said the revoke tool could be found.

It's SecuROM so it should work by creating a shortcut to the main EXE file with the parameter /revoke (Used in Far Cry 2 and a few other recent SecuROM activation titles, normally used during uninstall to free up the activation.)
EDIT: And yes that icon was in the start menu.
(And worked pretty much like I described above.)

Its like saying YOU move really slow motion when your stomping the shit out of some bug...
IS this game Turn Base ??? OR the entire team moves at the same time kicking butt ??? | compared to the bug you are. Something like a cockroach can move pretty fast and are hard to hit. Its why we need big sprays, swatters and traps to catch them.

Hmm, so the same procedure might work with Nexways Arma2 version... Interesting.

Well, first there's the obvious game balance issue that if big guys were as fast and agile as everyone else while much stronger and tougher, they would have no real drawbacks and everyone would play them.
On top of that, the larger a being is, the more energy and effort is needed to keep it upright and in balance. Very large creatures tend to be slower and more ponderous since their bulk just won't allow them to move that quickly and gracefully.

I'd buy this right now if it was on Steam. Why would they wait to release it on steam since its on the website already?
