Even though I hadn't experienced any crashes nor bugs in the RLD version, I got the RZR one simply to get future patch compatibility and get rid of Reloaded's release's SecuROM, just in case.

Really, there's only advantages in moving on to the RZR release. Is downloading another 5 gigs such an issue for some people? If you don't want to hurt your ratio in your favourite private trackers, just get it from a public one. Speeds shouldn't be too bad.

Is it just me? Or does the riverview town seem kinda plain? Seems like everything is cramed, such as the police, military, science lab etc. Its not as nicely layed out as Sunset Valley. Other than having a layout that is like a farm, its quite boring. Would be nice if they offered new careers such as a farmer and you can actually harvest crops with a tractor or something.

I'm not sure if anyone has seen this

Its a story/social experiment written using the sims.

I quite enjoyed the read.

Is it just me or does the AI in sims3 a bit more inactive / boring than in Sims2? They dont seem to react much at all, if someone dies they just stand and watch (no one even gets scared of the grim reaper? hmm). I havent seen any fights whatsoever either.

I always try to roleplay the sims games, doing stuff like that, that's the only way to play it Smile

If your update stops at 87% when processing "Shaders_Win32.precomp" with a "dfc-gorilla Error: Invalid file found.", remove your nude patch. Razz Hope you still have an original copy of the file around somewhere... Wink

Heh, never thought of checking the link before asking.

Glad to see they sped up Speed 2 and 3. Just too bad I've kinda lost interest in the game now.

Good to know then. I usually rename files to be replaced with an .ori extension for situations like this. Smile

Screw cracks, I'm using the GCW miniimage.

Anyway, I changed the resolution to my native one, 1680x1050 and it stutters, lol. ArmA2 runs fine at that res, though !!?!

One thing that helps to reduce the stuttering is to turn 'max frames to render ahead' all the way up to 8. This is in the nvidia control panel, not sure if the option is also available on ati.

A little question about the patch..

my version is 1.0.632.00002

and the 1.2.7 patch updates the version 1.0.631..
I think i can change my ver. number from 632 to 631 in skuversion.txt, anyone tried it and found any problems after it?

or i need to revert to 631.. ? Sad

EDIT:

Ok, thanks Smile

*sigh*

It works wih 632, too. Most of us were using that anyway. Although I had to copy over the skuversion.txt from the iso to my Bin folder because the patch complained about it. (Maybe I messed with it at some point)
