I thought the demo was pretty much the same as the first one, but i´ll give it a try anyway.

Gfx were defenitely not an improvement over the first one, it lacks AA and image quality is quite... bad, lol, too pixteladed.

I thought it looks good and it has AA, didn't see any "pixelation" that you talk about.

And most importantly... if you didn't like the first game don't bother with this one, simple as that.

I did like the first one, but halfway through the game it became a bit monotonous. I remember waking aimlesly for hours, maps were somehow confusing.

The first one was superb, I remember playing it instead of studying Very Happy
Hope the second one will deliver at least as much fun and humor. I don't need any serious improvements either, maybe more variety and that's it.
Hope seeing it this weekend!

X360 version (PAL) seems to be out so those who have such hardware (Modded/Flashed consoles or disc drivers or how it's done.) should be able to enjoy the game now. Smile (Assuming they have a PAL console.)

PC version should be out in two days based on Steam but it might be released earlier via a scene release, depends on the copy protection I guess.
(Clone if it's standard SecuROM or even Tages though a online DRM system might take a while longer, more still if it uses "triggers" like Damnation or Ghostbusters.)

360 release is RF (region free), which means it can be played on any flashed 360 console.

But I'm waiting for PC version anyway, higher res, framerate and most importantly no need to waste a dual layer verbatim Smile

gotta wait till it is officially released

I was using Steam name merely to indicate that the game is out in the US and we could expect scene release shortly Smile

Nice game so far...pretty much like the first game, but it's a tad funnier though. Smile
Only problem I'm having is the sound being a bit on the low side.

Some screens(all maxed, with bloom on,yes. gotta try without it soon):

What protection is on the D2D version? is it tages?
Did you have to 'activate'? did you have to install some drivers?

I enjoyed the first one until I got all four minion types - then it simply became too much of a hassle.. What's worse was if you had minions following you, and were busy commanding/sweeping other groups, the minions near you on idle wouldn't even defend themselves if attacked - just sat there and got slaughtered.

Have they tweaked the control scheme any or is it still the same? Do minions on idle still die without trying to defend themselves?

I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Been a while since I played it but I'm pretty sure there's a key to set them to more aggressive. I never had the problem you're talking of.

That's usually the case with online purchases though as they lack the physical disc. (Obviously since you downloaded it.)

Seems to be out in the US via retail as well so a release is probably not that far of for the PC edition. (X360 version is already out.)
