anyway to get the special forces and this new DLC units activated on a legit normal version bought on steam without paying ? I remember a mod that activated the special forces one, does it still work with the new patch

PickupArtist mod for SF edition is in rs folder, for this DLC i need updated unpack tools but it works exactly the same way. DLC can be activated with mod file

Annoying ive started again with the campaign tutorials etc, and i get to louisbourg with some ships and troops on and cant disembark to shore.

"move your ships near the coast line and disembark to land"

Yeah ok drag them look for icons Sad nothing, cant get the damn guys off the ships lol.. same bugs as before it seems.

after a fresh install, am I ok with only the 1.3 patch on damadors link or do I need all the previous patches too?

1.3 include and update all files that was updated in earlier patches - so you need only 1.3

Umm what the fuck man? Same here with the ship unloading shit. I can put as many units that will fit onboard, but fuck if I can get em off the fucking boat. WOW. You think reinstalling this POS will fix it or don't even bother? Thoughts, anyone try that route yet?


Seems I'm a nub. Did they add this feature? While clicked on your naval, hit the army tab, then unload them?.... Was it always that way? lol... Works anyway, maybe I never tried it b4, but I"m sure I have.

Right now I'm using "ETW Period Music Mod" (file name tuca_music.pack) - it's awesome for campaign map music, but it only replaces the victory/loss screen music during battles.


I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

No idea, When putting them on the boat before i left dock, I moved them from left panel to right panel to the ships, then it shows the number say of 130 troops on the ship mouse over.

when i get near land there is no "army tab" just the ships with the qty of the people i put on them... At a loss, no idea why they are not either a) viewable with an army tab via the ships or a ships menu of such. or b) why the little man and arrow/disembark drag feature does nothing either...

Prob end user error Very Happy but shit i am sure im doing it right...

I'm really thinking about buying this game - I enjoyed playing the Razor release, and now it wont work.
CTD After the first screen - Using Razor rls + Dox + Damador's files + Revloader..
Using Windows 7 - Might go back to XP if it can help.

Thanks NPK but I'm already using both of those mods.
I need a mod that replaces the actual music during the battle - as E:TW's stock music is an epic failure. Gone are the days of Rome and Medieval when the music was actually epic Sad

Fucking hell this game is so aggravating - CA can't get their shit together with regards to clicking things on the campaign map resulting in crashes. I'm literally down to the point of hitting Ctrl+S after EVERY ACTION I TAKE just because I know my next click could CTD and undo all my previous work.

Fucking ridiculous. Great product - shit coders. Fire your inept coders and the three AI pathing guru's.

I think I spend about 50% of my time with this game loading back into the main menu or redoing all the campaign map management after a crash. It seriously fucks up my flow.
I'll have a plan, be in the middle of building/moving armies negotiating trade, click, CTD.
Now I have to remember everything I just did and do it OVER.

I think this game has more CTD issues than any other game I've ever played since I started in 1990 with Civ I. That's not an overstatement, I'm dead fucking serious. Its a shame really - such an awesome game brought to the pit of mediocrity due to some subpar coding.

How do I know they don't know what the fuck their doing? 3 patches later and the game STILL has THE SAME campaign map CTD issues it had at launch. They're just chasing their tails.

immunity , this might be far fetched....

but have you tried to deinstall steam, reinstall steam + redownload the game from scratch?

make sure you have latest drivers for everything and to have your cpu / mem / videocard at stock speeds to rule out its the game's fault.

You don't have to reinstall steam. Just go to the game's properties and select validate game cache. To be sure the files are fine.

And try updating your sound card drivers (clicking=sound=possible incompatibility=CTD)
Or change the game's sound settings if any.

Same here, just crashed on desktop without any explanations..
I've had enough of this game.. waiting months to fix their mess and when they finally do something else is broken
Not worth the wasted time.
ps: i was going to buy the game but now i'm glad I didn't waste money on it..
shame.
