-5 and -5.25 >.<
It doesn't matter if my eyes are closed or not without classes, I can't see shit without them lol.
Atleast glasses are pretty cheap around here, think I paid ~175€ total for my current ones.
I also got some contacts on the shelves so -2/+2 is no limit for them at all.

After getting an eye infection six months ago i had to quit with contacts for a couple of monts. I only have -2.5 but i have a cillinder of 4+
Total costs because of this fucking cilinder around € 580,-
Fucking disgusting. I really wanted to have eye surgery but i didnt have the cash (around 2000 euro), so now i had to pay 30 percent of the costs for air. At least thats how i see it.

Something I'll be wearing pretty much everywhere, I want to look good. And if I ever manage to find a frame that looks good and costs under 100€ I'd certainly buy it. It's no different than buying a nice jacket or sneakers.
The only thing I don't understand why is the glass so expensive (230€) ?

Because you know what, I dont really give a shit what people think I am wearing when im tucked into a book.

i have 1 month contacts which are 20 bucks each (so, on paper, 40 bucks a month). But i wear them for like 6 months lol. I even sleep with them. I just rinse them in the morning with the steril water rinsy thingy and thats it. Not buying or using that crap you're supposed to put them in the night. I realized that crap only destroys the contacts lol.

Lol, you are one of these people. My flatmate bought Porsche-designed frames for 250 euro and they are exactly the same as regular frames for 1/10 of the price. Nothing unique, they look and feel exactly identical as mine. Why do people waste so much money? |
Well, this is my first frame with a "known brand". I always had no-name frames, but I thought that I would spent a bit more this time and get something "known". my old frame was 90€ (the one that's broken now) and the rayban costs 165€, that's 75€ more, but whatever...YOLO! (sorry xD)
be careful Sin, using those contacts longer than you should may cause an infection in your eye, and that's not a pleasure :/ ...

I think it's because they have to manually make them to fit your frame, and thickness of it etc. Plus the cylinder ones are a whole different value of complexity.
My mom and dad have 2 pairs (one for normal use, others for reading), and they paid ridiculous amount of money for them :\

Yeah glasses are so insanely expensive , I bought mine 4 years ago and thankfully they're still doing good..otherwise I would be screwed. -6 and counting here, which makes me almost blind..without them (and the beloved lenses) I wouldn't even be able to distinguish a cow from a person xD
