Ok, I just remembered a very old game I used to like, I mean it was ages ago.
It was a gangster-type of game, where the "world map" was kind of top-down, you drove around in a shitty car (or walked if you lost it).
You could rob houses and businesses.
Hire other criminals to join your gang, then train them in different areas (guns etc)
Buy and upgrade guns and cars.
Kidnap kids, steal electronic equipment etc. And those break-in missions were like minigames.
When cops came, a shootout started - side view and turn based, you could either move or shoot.
Anyone know what game I'm talking about?
Also, what newer games are like this game? I actually really like the simplicity of this game I'm trying to remember the name of, but of course I would like a more modern version of it..
Watercooled 5950X | AORUS Master X570 | Asus RTX 3090 TUF Gaming OC | 64Gb RAM | 1Tb 970 Evo Plus + 2Tb 660p | etc etc

When talking about games in this genre. I remember a action game, top-down like described, and you had team mates where you went around killing aliens, humans (if i don't remember wrong) hives and whatnot. All real time. It's probably a less known game (typically) But i would LOVE to find it and play it again. It's a old game (somewhere in the 90's) which i only had the demo of from a magazine i subscribed to as a kid.

You mean this?
I used to play it a bit. And to be honest i don't know nothing really similar to it. |
Oh wow, I remember I used to play it to death 10-or-something years ago. Never thought I'd see it mentioned again
It was meant for multiplayer, though, since it was far too easy to make money in single player. The multiplayer mode was tons of fun, though.
