I wish to complain about the game minesweeper. me and my cool friend were playing one sunny afternoon and found that we had to pick one of two spaces to finish the game. there was no way you could tell which was the mine so we failed!! You advertise this game as a game of "logic" when in fact there is a lot of chance involved which just isn't fair! why make us feel stupid by saying it's all about logic only to let us fall into a depressive hole when luck steals our winning moment. This has deeply effected us emotionally and demand compensation
Many thanks

tell them that every minesweeper game is modelled after true events in war-zones all around the globe. And that logic also only gets an elite bomb-disposal unit as far as a "cut the left or right wire" decision.
btw you guys make jokes, but this is a serious complaint for a VERY serious issue. i almost had a breakdown once because of this shit... seriously... game of skill my ass when theres two EQUALLY likely choices at the end... fuck microsoft and their bullshit

Best thing to do imo. Just accept it that people are freaking idiots and make of it the best you can and don't get bothered by such people as they hurt your mental health(by annoying and stressing you out) more than you can really help them.
OR because your tech support you should do your job and accept peoples legitimate complaints and not be judgemental just because YOU dont think its a problem... just because someone rings up and says their crt monitor isnt working properly, doesnt give you the right to go 'lol n00b get an lcd screen, faggot! *click*'

Talking for personal experience there are we?
I understand where you're coming from, but the OP message is just too stupid to consider it anything but idiotic. "deeply effected us emotionally", oh come on.
My last roommate used to play tons of that stupid game. At one point he played it for six hours straight, only interrupting his games by some solitaire or windows chess. And he was clicking on that field so freaking fast with that mouse, like a machine, it was SO annoying.
You guys really shouldn't take this so lightly! People invest precious time playing these games and to have it turn out like this is a real disappointment. How would you like it if your level 80 mage suddenly lost its powers or if Blizzard started giving out epic stuff based on random lottery draw? Not very happy I guess. Just because a game is not heavy on graphics doesn't mean that people don't connect with it. On the contrary, it is the simple things in life that represent something deeper than just what appears on the surface.
I would suggest that you try and empathise with the customer and put yourself in their position. Mention that the makers of the game were aware of the problem and it was being looked into even if isn't true. Lying for a good cause is a good thing. Or you could mention that the element of luck is an unshakeable fact of life. And the game is actually an accurate paradigm representing the dichotomy of luck and skill.
You mean the archaic games that are tucked away somewhere deep in the Start menu? I always thought those games were cheap and pathetic. Interestingly, built-in games are nowhere to be found in OSX
