ending was ok too, i liked it

As long as it has English audio that's fine by me.
Can confirm that this release is all in English: Pandorum.R5.XViD-DELETHiS

Some aspects of the film didn't make much sense, but overall I enjoyed it and would give it 7/10. I especially liked the twist at the end.

Yeah I missed some stuff to. But it is interesting that they planned to do this as a cheap direct to dvd movie and now it had a 40.000.000 budget
But it seemed to be a flop @ the boxoffice Better marketing wouldve definitly helped.
Lets hope that this movie does well on dvd so that this genre wont die slowly...

It has some clichés sure, but the general feel of the movie just works. It's not even close to scary or anything like that, but it is enjoyable, just don't expect a scary movie.
7/10

I'm still waiting for a proper Dead Space movie though...
Spoiler: | I definitely feel it was a big mistake to include the two (well three later on) companions. The movie had suspense and was mildly scary before the main character found any one else on the ship (that is, aside from the guy giving him radio directions), I think it captured the feeling of being alone with dangerous creatures against you really well... But once he meets his new friends whom I shall call Foreign Ninja and Non Foreign Ninja Bitch I feel the movie just turned from a potential horror to an all out action movie. They were completely unnecessary. Had he been alone the whole time, it'd be MUCH more exciting.
Now, I know this isn't a Dead Space movie, but I have to say this, Dead Space is fucking awesome and the only reason it is so fucking awesome is because you're all alone the whole game, your friends are always one step ahead of you somehow and you always have a reason not to go to them. It pains you and torments you because it's scary and dangerous and a partner would really make things a lot less scary. But that's what made Dead Space so fucking awesome.
This movie could've been SO much better if it had the same line of thought. I don't understand why so many horror directors feel the need to include companions with the main character, it only serves to destroy the suspense...
I did love the twist. I thought I had it figured out because I figured out the guy in the control room was hallucinating the moment he met his younger self, but then that wasn't all there was to it! And I loved that. |
|
Yeah the twist that I enjoyed...
Spoiler: | Was when he opened up the viewing port in the cockpit and there were no stars visible. Being a scientist I assumed then that they were beyond the galactic event horizon and a myriad of different theories as to why light wasn't reaching the ship came to mind. When the bioluminescent organisms showed up it was a great reveal as it was the last thing I would have considered. |

Spoiler: | Exactly. I also thought they were past all the stars and out in black space, a kind of oh shit moment, but then they weren't totally fucked after all. ^^ |
What I thought too.. Actually that would be damn scary.

Your right with everything you said but I still enjoyed the movie That's why it only got an 7/10 from me, it could have been much better! Especially the pacing I'll still recommend it to sci-fi and action/horror fans

I gave this 6.5 or 7 out of 10. Could have been much better, as has already been said!
