You can try drinking warm milk, with honey if you like. That usually puts me down really fast

Get your emotions sorted. They're probably fucked up. Try and release as much aggression as possible whilst working-out. You'll probably build it back up in no time.

I had this same problem last night. I don't feel tired at all when the night comes. Finally, four hours before my scheduled re-activation time, I went to bed, only to toss and turn for 3 hours, and finally getting less than an hour of sleep before going up.
After you go up like that, everything seems weird somehow. Your brain is on the fritz, even if you can talk walk and even think, it feels like it's not you who's doing it. As in fight-club, everything is a copy of a copy - washed out, and not genuine. After I get home from work, I slept for 2 hours, only to wake up with a headache where my boner used to be.
My take is that some people are night-people, and some are day-people. The world is made for the latter, so if you get a normal job, your are likely to end up hating your life and feeling like a zombie. And there are no real solutions to this either, because it's probably not a medical issue, but rather a product of your upbringing and a bunch of external factors. No matter how many times I tried to change myself, go to bed early for example; even if i could fall asleep, I end up being awake longer than I intended. When I let myself go, however, then I usually go to bed at about 5-6(am) and wake up at about 13-14... That's perfectly normal 8 hours, they are just at the wrong place at the wrong time.

This works for me everytime. However, if your mind is racing can be hard to pull off.
Breath in through your nose then out through your mouth, think about nothing if you can't do that think about how dark it is with your eyes closed, think about the darkness, make sure not to stray to far from that. Keep the breathing pattern the same. After about 15-20 minutes of that i can almost always fall asleep. It may take you longer but once you perfect it, you can always sleep. I had trouble with insomnia for a long time, this fixed it for me.
Good luck.

a lavender oil bath is basically a bath with a few drops of lavender oil added to the water.
lavender oil aids sleep and relaxation, you could probably just put a drop on your pillow to

On topic thou.. anyone have any good ways of changing ur sleeping patterns ??
At the moment i goto bed at like 4 .. and wake up at 1 (I dont have uni till the arvo) .... argh |
I got the same problem. I've got nothing to do until I enlist (which will be happening in a few months) and I don't have any daily job. So I find myself going to bed at 4 am and waking up at 2pm - No fun. I like it when I got the whole day for me.
