Hey, is there any way round my isp throttling the usenet port? I connect at 7.6mbps and I`m throttled to 2mbps on usenet.. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

Yes the sonsofbitches they probably are. It sucks doesnt it? The unfortunate thing is that most of them are doing it. I wouldnt mind paying extra per month to use my max bandwith for downloading. I dont even get 8mb so I think I should be throttled to 3mb or 4mb. That would be ok. 2mb sucks. Rant over. lol

ISP is Eclipse http://www.eclipse.net.uk/

They say nothing about throttling Sad I connect at 7.6 Mbps, so to get cut down to 2 is a right shite and a half!!

haha really? thats my ISP lol. I have an 8mb connection but connect at 4.5mbps. I think you will find Usenet is throttled to 2mb from about 8am to midnight. I created a thread similar to yours lol. If you find an ISP thats decent let me know.
