I was looking at it a while ago and it seemed too shallow and easy in the management aspect (which is what I'm interested in most) but I was hoping that would change (or that I would just be wrong)

Its definitely not easy its just that the whole system behind the scenes doesn't make sense.

its been a while since I've played but from memory the entire interest in rides, passengers coming into your park, system for visitor interest based on ride scenery among other things I'm sure I've forgotten just seems very wrong.

Nothing made much sense and the fun was really sucked out of everything.

Park management aside the game is perfect, problem is I have no interest in that part of the game, it was very cool for a limited amount of hours while you try everything and see the great graphics.

Not bad, but if your expecting to get down and dirty with the nitty gritty details, then Parkitect is the better option. This is not really a 'simulation', but rather a 'showcase' of ones work, in which it does that very well, and awesome looking to boot, if you have the hardware Wink

Already own Parkitekt, has potential, though last I played was about a year ago so might give that a shot again

My specs:
Ryzen 5950x @ boosting 5ghz, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master, 128gb G.Skill Trident Neo pc3600 ram, nVidia RTX 5080, SoundBlasterX G6, Samsung 980 Pro m.2 1TB and Hynix m.2 1TB storage SSD. Custom watercooling loop.

They added a ton of simulation stats during this year, you won't be disappointed Smile

From what I could try (the performance of this game is truly awful), not much. There's just not much to do when you compare it to RCT2 for example. It's pretty much the same with Parkitect although that's improving very slowly (last update finally brought the game a bit to life with some audio improvements).

I ran this game on a brand new low end PC I built this weekend and it ran smoothly so it can't be that bad (i3 8100 with GTX 1050 so really bottom end)

That was bad.
Crappy graphic settings and nice stuttering.

Did they ever fix or make management more than fast-forwarding?

The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don’t always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don’t always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.
