That's because install program is fucked and you need to choose the easy option when you install it. WTF is wrong with these publishers can't even make an install program. First Terminator Salvation and now this.

okay this has to be one of the strangest problems ive occured with fps issues. First introduction mission in the basement = fine, game is running smooth etc. Then we goto the hotel and boom its stuttering so much i can barely move (must be really low fps) - i turn around to face away from the other members and the fps is fine again...i have to run around backwards to keep the fps normal - anyone else had this problem?

Thats Exactly the same issue I had, I installed on windows 7 and bothered to play past the hotel lobby, it stuttered a little but not as bad as XP, Plays smoothly in Win7 now but the sound in the cut scenes is FUBAR Sad

As always, chose a custom install. Took only took 5 mins to install. But install is borked, but if you copy the contents of the bin folder over to installation folder and then overwrite with crack the game runs fine.

Nah mate I cant hear the dialog at all only the music I think my sound drivers may not be fully compatible with windows 7,

Do you still need alchemy for it to work right on Creative cards?

And this is what Warez was invented for lol Laughing

I'm on xp and i have all the issues mentioned here. Extremely low preformance wacky mouse and music cutting out.

Wtf protoypte runs great and this just bogs down? Is it the new engine fysics stuff?
I have a dual core but this damn engine must need a quad or something.

Edit: Haha i just fixed my own problems. So here's a tip if you have the same issues and a nvidia card (i've got an 8800gtx). Go to the nvidia control panel/3d settings/physx configuration and turn it off. Game runs great for me now. Must be some new engine physx incompatibilaty thing.

Just finished it on medium settings.

If your a fan of ghostbusters you'll love it, as it is pretty much the game it should of been and one of the only few movie>game conversions that is decent. Not for everyone I think, specially if you weren't into ghostbusters in the 80's, still its a pretty solid game. The only few points I would make is that on one or two sections in certain levels your really scratching your head thinking 'wtf do i do here' as theres not much guidance as to what you were supposed to do to proceed

. Oh, and I was expecting the main theme music to run all the way through at least once... and it didn't Sad

I'm glad I bought the game! Its amazing! The graphics are incredible, the story line is great. And the gameplay is fun! Well for me anyways.

I'm running it on Vista x64 and I've had no issues as of yet. Runs smooth with all video options set to high.

Well, what are you expecting, Atari developers needed to concentrate on making it the best game possible - on CONSOLES - and decided they did not have enough resources to deal with the mouse. Razz

Installed it and uninstalled it when I got to the hotel level. Runs like shit considering i'm running SLI GTX260's. Still ran fine for me though overall though. I gave up when I got to those stupid fucking candle monster things. I was playing on the medium difficulty setting and they were absolutely raping me. They do a shitload of damage, take more then a few seconds to kill, and after you kill the first one they throw like 6 of them at you at once. You just get absolutely gang raped. The boss battle before that was easier then the so called candles that should be easy to kill. Fuck that shit.
