Everything by Mr. Eastwood is worth several glances. I imagine this to be a different but very good movie with him in a different unlikeable role. Also don't expect lots of action just because he has a rifle in his hands. Razz

Quicktime is a VERY VERY bad player (at least on Windows). Try a high quality h264 video with quicktime and with ffdshow, the performance difference is huge.

it's from Eastwood, so it can't be bad, I also don't have the expectations from another Letters From Iwo Jima, but if it turns out to reach the same quality, even better.

Im not using it for any kind of movie - just for trailers, and thats good enough for me. Works flawless with their trailers. It's not as if it takes much space Smile

Gran Torino looks awesome. Eastwood is one of my fav actors.

I cant believe that POS Twilight is still on the charts...seriously...I saw it with my niece a few weeks ago. She loved it. But fuck, Id fall asleep and she'd wake me up when she noticed me sleeping lol

Cant wait till she's 13 or 14 and can go to good movies. Or atleast good 'chick' (romantic) drama's. I wont mind seeing those with her.

For all you wondering, me and my niece are very close. She's like my sister.

The acting was ALL very well done except for the "zipper head" at a certain point. You should enjoy it regardless of any kind of movie genre your into.

I just saw it and was going to create a new thread but learned to search beforehand - and I'm surprised it started out slow but in the long run hearing all his comments under his voice was reward enough. I really thought he was going to end up kicking all those teenagers asses and was surprised at the end and was even a little bit let down - but besides that great movie. I really miss the old days where movies had happy endings - nowadays it seems I have the urge to cry with happiness which is second best to just being filled with joy. I definitely recommend watching this flick it will inspire you in one way or another...
