What would I need to get this a T2370 CPU cooled without much issue? Thermal paste I know about.. but would I need to add a heatsink or something?

I'm getting temps of about 75-80C and its annoying me now Crying or Very sad
I'm going to assume its as simple to muck about with as a Desktop CPU despite them using different sockets.

Laptops usually don't have space for other heatsinks than the regular one. You can verify if colling paste is applied correctly and check there isn't too much dust inside the laptop, and perhaps you can increase fan speed in the bios.

Or use a "laptop cooler" (device that has fans that you set your laptop on).

it's all about airflow. blow through the heatsink with a compressed air can to eliminate any dust and put a book under the rear edge so the distance between laptop bottom and desk is about an inch.

Managed to knock down around 12-13c off my P7350 (stock voltage was 1.137V, got it running at 0.937V now without a problem.
Using a vacuum cleaner to clean all the air intakes and outakes of the chassis helps too.

I think it would be better if I just upgraded the CPU to a c2d instead. They seem to run cooler than the "Pentium" versions of the processor so it seems.
