How about a new thread section strictly for reading, novels, articles, magazines etc.

It makes sense since a lot of us are keen readers..

I can see some nice threads such as *new novels*, *last read novel* etc being worth voting Yes for Smile

So, yay/nay?

Well, that's not bad idea! You can check the section, see some book, and what others think about it , that can help with book selection, for example when you're on holiday or such... I'm for it!

x264 goes in the Movie & TV Sparks forum so a section only for that is not needed

a subsection maybe, but I don't think it's necessary...

I find the idea brilliant! I don't actually read much books these days (they make me fall asleep) but I do listen to a lot of audio books, I hope that would be under the same roof...or?.

These specialized sections are useless ... even the Sports section is dead. Even the PC Dox section ! Protection section the same ...

And you want a book section, lol ?

What is there to talk about? In the past few years there have been 4 threads about books I think, 3 recommend-me-a-book threads where everyone recommends some generic fantasy and one thread by tainted asking what brand of ereader he should get.

I just don't see the demand for it.

What's wrong with generic fantasy? And what qualifies as generic fantasy and then again what is not-generic fantasy? Enlighten me, Rinze, enlighten me please Wink
