How do I adjust the lifetime or disable aging? Those options are greyed out for me.

Game keeps locking up, making me reboot, every 10-30mins. Happened to anyone else?
I'm on xp 32.

or some such bullshit. The only issue I've had in over 15hrs of play --- and it wiped that save game instantly. The only other one I had was FIVE FUCKING HOURS OLD.
.... urge to uninstall game and delete ISO; rising.

Yeah the readme file has the error numbers explained. It's really damn annoying even if you have a recent save - that's why I restart the game every now and then. Only seems to happen if you play extended periods of time.

Mate, it was blind luck that I DID make an alternate save ... I actually went to click "save" and chose "save as" instead >_<

sabin ive had that error all i did was exit out that game and reload it and it worked.
not as in end the whole game just stop playing that sim then reload and it was all fixed again.. i guess the bak up kicked in.

I tried that mate, all I get on the save list is my 5-hrs older save ... and the one that died. The one that died due to that error just has a white dotted outline for my character and it won't load (clicking it does nothing)
Bah.

I had a corrupt save too once (from saving when quitting the game, ill never do that again). But after restarting the game 3 times, it just suddenly showed up fine again. I always save twice in a row now, so if 1 is corrupt i'll have the backup.

Since there is no thread-search here:
Is there a way to use the windows xp firewall to block the game? I tried to use it once, but couldn't find any way to completely block certain programs.

seems like there is quite a lot of bugs, im sure there will be some patching before release.
aside from a few save glityches where it stays on 'saving' forever this happened...

the guitar now stuk to my sim, when she uses another guitar, it appears beside her, spinning randomly
every so often it disappears , but 95% Of the time the guitar is stuck to her boob

Anyone know of a money cheat? Don't want the hassle of making a trainer, haven't got cheat engine installed.

I dunno.. I just added the .exe files (launcher and the game) into the firewall allow-list, clicked apply, then deselected them and clicked apply again, and i havent had any issues so far.
Just remember to uncheck the auto-update option in the launcher just in case.

My first bug happened while I was at sleep. A woman came into my house and started to steal stuff (had some sort of laser gun). I immediatly woke up my sim and called the cops. The cop came into my house, walking past the burglar and started to yell at me, because I called the them!! Meanwhile the burglar kept on stealing my stuff! Then one after aanother they left and my sim was all the day depressed, because the thief stole my >toilet paper holder< and a cheap chair  But still it pissed me off, that I wasn't able to interrupt the burglar.
And in the late afternoon I went to the park to prepare some burgers for the people (I was happy that I finally learnt how to make burgers  ). After preparing and refining the burgers I just took place next to them and played some guitar, so that the people will come and have some fun. But some dickhead appeared, went to the burgers, took the whole tablet (I was like "Is he going eat them all??") and threw them into the garbage! I immediatly stopped playing the guitar, but the fucker ran away and took a car to disappear as fast as possible

Yeah I had a few with the laptop you can carry in your inventory - first I got an opportunity to fix some old guy's laptop and when I accepted it was meant to automatically add the broken laptop to my inventory. I already had my laptop there tho, so nothing appeared and I couldn't repair the current one or give mine to the dude. Nothing to do but to cancel the whole thing.
Later when I was visiting someone else's house, my sim decided to repair the laptop there (this was later and completely unrelated to the first incident, since he broke the thing trying to upgrade the gpu  ). Got it fixed just fine, but I guess the game considered it the property of the house owner and I couldn't pick it back to my inventory.
Also, when I went to visit my firstborn son, I couldn't fulfill my wish of holding him first because "I didn't know the family well enough". Wtf, don't the sim fathers get any rights?
Haven't had a burglar come visit yet, but I moved to that beach house with the big windowed walls, and on my first morning my sim woke up to some Peeping Sim peeking in. Shame I couldn't catch him, haven't been in a fight I haven't won yet.
