I used to use some kind of software that managed speed but I can't remember the name of it - you could use it to limit or manage the speed a certain software had access to. Has anyone heard of this or know what I'm talking about?
You also have DUmeter, it's good for monitoring how much you transfer. But for managing your speed access for software then it's definitely netlimiter.

Yeah you should be able to see that information in the Task Manager - Network [tab] - or somewhere without additional third party software - it's really useless information unless your being a nazi...
