they couldnt screw publishers as dnf didnt have one, more precisely 3d realms was self-funding. t2 had publishing rights to the game, but they did not cash 3drealms. thats why it was possible for such delay

Well, someone was paying the ppl that working on the game and it certainly wasn't the sorry scumbags in charge of 3D Realms !!!! Otherwise, they wouldn't invalidate the work being done, restarting the game, changing engines, deceiving the fans and stalling the development.
Fuck that, I'm waiting for the psp versions of the next (last?) Duke Nukem games. They look cool.

I think that is as far fetched as it can be. And while the registrar of saveduke.com prefers to remain anonymous, I think the writer of that text might as well say he believes in UFOs. I think that while DNF is now deader than Dillinger, DNF while live on a long time in fans, conspiracies, and whatnot. Because they want to 'believe' that it isn't so, much like Elvis isn't dead.

This is incredible ... Why they didn't release anything until now .... and now .... we see screen shots and artworks everywhere ... why they didn't released them over time to keep the hype going.
