I suspect my VGU is now dead.
Heres the details:
A few months ago I was getting no signal on my monitor.
I don't recall what I was doing at the time I had the issue.
I swapped to the alternate dvi output and things worked fine.
Just yesterday I was listening to some music and the screen just froze up and I had to do a hard shutdown.
I have been unable to get any signal from that point on.
I tried both dvi outputs.
The fan on the VGU is spinning up, it's a zalman aftermarket cooler.
I reseated the card as well.
I tried the monitor on a 2nd PC and it's working fine.
I tried the 2nd PCI-E slot on my mobo and still no go.
I think that only leaves me with a VGU issue.
I've only had the card in the system for about 8 months.
Time for me to try and RMA this video card?
