first off it's been fixed already and I haven't had an issue finding it, learn how to use it (what are you searching for?)

2nd off, post in the right section would ya?

3rd, is there an issue with the how many threads already on this topic?

yeah, some things have been fixed, but it's not working perfectly. searching fails if your search terms contain special chars. try searching in title only for f.e.a.r.

another example would be hei$t. you ain't gonna find it by using the search function, but the thread is there.

FEAR is a special exception but still, it's not that hard to use the search function, know how easy it is to find all the hesit threads?

type in "hei" in the search box then click topic titles only

hehe, yeah, i tend not to expect people to do unnecessary things either, since i'm lazy myself, but this shouldn't be that difficult to fix. it might be just a matter of escaping with backslashes all the non-alphanumeric chars.

Shame, because they are already working on more stuff for the forum (the new skin), so why not have a *little* (Razz) more work and upgrade.

This forum is custom made for nforce based on phpbb, and I guess updating to a regular phpbb with all the posts and db intact doesn't work. I'm also sick of this outdated ugly only bare bone minimum features having forum but oh well.

I was thinking the same thing, but hey, we'll be the only forum on Earth still on phpBB2 so we'll be super special Laughing Yey!

A bit more detail on what you're searching for and what you expect to find so I can verify if it's indeed an error.

Thread-specific search would be a-ok. It's a pain trying to find some specific info from some of the long threads here.
