Hi
Few months ago I bought for my son Call of Duty World at War , he enjoyed that very much however since the last patch with new maps he gets a error with direct3d , it seems more people have this problem some can be solved by updating something some it wont work at all.
Anyway old maps still work fine but new maps not, however now I may return the game and get a new one since sofar activision isnt able to fix this problem.
Now is my question any recommendations for a multiplayer game he should get and a game with enough players.
He also has Battlefield 2142 and he still plays that so yaah he likes shooters, i have been thinking about Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare but im a bit scared he will have the same problems there.
Anyone that can tell me a good multiplayer fps with alot of players would be very much apriciated and will make it alot eassier for me to get that game for him 2 morrow

Battlefield 2, it has the best mods ever made like forgotton hope and project reality and lets face it 64 players at teh same time is just KICK ASS!!!

CS 1.6 just for the learning curve.
Learning curve in CoD4 = nonexistent.
First day 1:1 ratio, 2nd day 2:1, 3rd day 3:1 I was scared to go further. Boring.

i'm a FPS addict , for me Counter Strike source and COD4 multiplayer are the best choice.
