only thing from whedon i really liked was firefly. buffy, angel... bleh werenot my type o shows.
watched it, dushku in a skimpy dress during the start of the episode= INSTAWIN, but otherwise the show really... lacked something, also kinda predictable (the main character etc. Doll, will probably start gaining her own personality and theres a mystical "first Doll" that is probably some epicly skilled, mysterious bad guy etc.). i think the show could have potential but the first episode really simply lacked that spark to keep it interesting.
i hope it will not be in the style of buffy, etc. pointed towards teen powerbabes.
if it continues like this, i say 10-12 episodes and cancelled...
PS! if it will be actually good. fox will can it because its not making 60million a minute

the show was BORING!
There's nothing he can do with this but a malfunction and she starts remembering her past life and becomes in control of her 'identities' and will try to find out what the company is doing. And then run and will be hunted by the other 'assasins' and she'll try to turn them. GAAAY!
ps firefly pilot was sick! STFU!

Where do you see the ratings ? |
Quote: | At 9 p.m., "Flashpoint," brought CBS down to a 5.7/10, but still handily won the hour. ABC held on to second place with "Supernanny," and FOX was solidly in third with the much-hyped premiere of the new Joss Whedon series "Dollhouse," 2.8/5. |

Quote: | 'Dollhouse' premieres soft; 'Terminator' dives
The series premiere of Joss Whedon's "Dollhouse" was seen by 4.7 million viewers Friday night and garnered a 2.0 preliminary adults 18-49 rating and 6 share. It was beaten in the 9 p.m. hour by ABC's "Supernanny" (6.1 million viewers, 2.2/7) and is the lowest-rated scripted series premiere on a major broadcast network this season aside from NBC's now-defunct "Crusoe." |

I wonder why SciFi didn't buy Firefly from FOX, it would have blossomed there.

I actually thought it was an interesting setup, though sadly the standard storyline mentioned before will probably be what it's all about. It has the potential to be something good though, with good writing they can make enough interesting and dynamic episodes.

OK, I got through the nine episodes. This series starts out pretty OK (first 4 episodes are quite decent) but ep7, 8 and 9 are pure shit. The plot is one big uninteresting anticlimax going in all directions and not focusing on anything.
This might've worked for a mini. But there are just too way too many plot-holes, lack of pacing, horrible actors.
1. Tries to be Alias, but fails. Alias was a lot better.
2. Tries to be Dark Angel, but fails. There is a lot better character focus with Dark Angel.
3. Tries to be any other "mindwipe"/"memory loss"-series, but falls face first into pavement because of cliché.
This might have worked with better actors. Though these are shit. Blech, pass.
I also think fisk should be unbanned.

seems there's a lot of hate around here for this, but i grew a liking to it along the way - concept potential showing more toward the end of the season
anyway, the unaired 1x13 dvdrip is now out (along with the rest of the season and the unaired pilot, which i am yet to watch)
i can see why they didn't air it.. it expects you to know the story of the season and understand the potential of the technology
and, well, you can't really expect that from the general viewing public
but it's a great look at a postapocalyptic future where the technology has been weaponized to spawn brainwashed armies in seconds
also, season 2 is starting in september
i'm curious to learn if it continues from present day or the postapocalyptic future
and if 1x13 was a possible alternative timeline future or something season 2 is building towards
either way, i'm excited

I ended up liking it too
Thanks for letting me know S2 was happening. Thought another decent show had been cancelled (like the Terminator...such bs).
When does the new season of Chuck start? Do you happen to know?

march 2010
http://www.tvrage.com/Chuck
just watched the unaired pilot
thought it was a lot better than the aired one.. as suspected
i don't see how it was 'confusing'
infact i thought it gave too much away of the show so early
