I don't mind the dull blue & white design...but we should at least have some options, I mean common now its the F'n 21 century.

I think the site deserves a little bit of flash and design after all this time...no?

He he. I have no clue about "web design" but I do have a clue about design. If needed I am sure there is enough "creative" ppl around here to do the job. I could for sure do my bit if this idea should go through. Throw some ideas and propose some new fresh designs for the site...sure.

As I said I don't mind the "blue" theme...but it is getting a tad dated now...that's all.

eh, the site looks just fine like it is. and that flash thing doesn't sound like a good idea. nfohump is pretty lean and clean right now, why clutter it with fancy flash stuff?

some alternative themes would be ok, though.
as long as i'm not forced to use them Razz

Flash= fancy. Not "Flash" as in flash player or anything, it's just a matter of speech.
All I am asking for is an alternative to the "blue theme" Wink.

Well you can easily make Stylish theme. I even asked on their board if someone will do it for me, but they weren't so forthcoming Sad Anywho... It would be better if we would update to phpBB3, rather then sugarcoating old and unattractive phpBB2 forum imo...

I wouldn't mind some color themes. To fit more with ones desktop or something Smile I don't mind the current one, though.

Voted for "Two or three alternatives". But current awesome minimalistic blue & white theme must be kept at all cost Smile It is so easy for the eyes.

I like phpBB 3's prosilver. It could be given the colors of NFOhump and still retain its beauty. Smile

tbh I like the blue/grey ... easy on the eyes and not too flashy... not something that a work colleague might recognize (ie 'why are you always on that orange site').

I usually have time to change browser windows/go back to work application when someone shows up at my cubicle door, but not always At least this site could possibly mistaken as legitimate work browsing on a quick glance.

Prosilver is too bright, only if you would made some changes, especially that vivid blue, almost cyan color. If you could turn it to this - subtle blue, then it would be ok...

Just a thought....

Considering the name, "NFOHUMP"...maybe a graphic with someone humping someone. Obviously not explicit in nature but y'all know what I mean Smile

Nono

I meant real ppl...not stick figure looking peeps.

Like a nice hot chick (obviously no vagina exposed) and a guy humping (no cock exposed either) and somehow incorporate "NFOHump"

Of course an nfohump is like the hump on a dromedary or camel: a storage of life's necessities. A desert theme would be much more fitting.

to be honest...I just like this look and feel, I wouldn't change it at all!

But I hardly have a say in this, since I haven't been on the forum since 2006. For me this look is totally new Very Happy

So far I've found only HUMP logo replacement Leo made and something for that Greasemonkey but that was for torrent download on the NFO page Laughing

And that giant ad is annoying esp when I'm on uni and they don't have adblock by default, and every time I log in cache and everything I did gets erased so it's kinda pain in the ass. Not to mention the look on peoples faces when I accidentally pass with mouse over the corner...

I would like @ least the option to choose...
